Players we should go after

I’ve always liked Johnson Clarke Harris at Peterborough.

81 goals in 160 games and 29 years old.

We’re not going to be flush money wise, so need to look at realistic targets.

peterborough have a policy that everyone with one year left on their deal is transfer listed. he didn't want to re-sign but also didn't fancy moving to any of the clubs that came in for him. he ended up having a big bust up with the board over it all and has been in and out of the team over the season and when he has played he's been disinterested.

Peterborough turned us over once,why not again.

great signing for them that. only leeds and rotherham were ever really reported to have been in for him but i can't imagine that half the championship enquired about his availability.

still, i dont know if it's a good move for him. stoke feels like a place were players go to die lol. aside from nathan collins who else have they produced in the past few years? i get that stoke are a big club at this level with some financial weight behind them but they've been like that for years and have brought in some good talent in that time but it's never worked out.

they remind me a bit of that infamous vaas insanity speech from far cry 3 tbh. anyone who's played far cry 3 will know what i mean and if you haven't it's worth checking out as it's stoke to a T lol.

The striker Aaron Connolly is not getting a new contract at Hull City. A bit injury prone, but scores goals and quite young.

Would anyone take him for a season?

Solid keeper to be fair and well known keepers can play on for a while longer than outfield players.

Absolutely yes. Good keeper, 36 no problem if fit and agile.

no thanks to forster. decent keeper on his day but he'd be yet another stopgap and has no resale value. asmir was an ok keeper for us but we should be looking to sign someone with their career ahead of them.

that corey addai of crawley looks a decent prospect. i can remember him playing against us in a preseason game a few seasons ago and tbf he looked awful then lol. come a long way since then, is exceptional with the ball at his feet and afaik is out of contract so would be available on a free.

only thing that concerns me is if his flamboyance at the back becomes more of an erratic behaviour at this level.

not for me,he's even worse than Begovic with the ball at his feet.

Ike Ugbo who scored 7 goals for Sheffield Wednesday in the run-in should be worth looking at imo. He is returning to Troyes in France, but anyway ...
