Would still be a shit’ole, awkward to get to and subject to noise and crowd restrictions in a residential area. Hoos has said this.

Just stay at LR. We average 14,000 ffs LR is not fit for purpose. It isn't right that it takes 20 minutes to get a warm beer and cold food. There's no space for anything. The whole stadium is restricted view. I love LR but we need to get a better stadium. Our numbers would also increase. QPR keeps the hardcore, but the QPR that can take or leave a game, will leave it (rightly or wrongly) due to the shit experience. LCS; after Hoos and the council spouting off in the press, I haven't heard or seen anything. There must have been conversations? If the council are saying that we haven't tried to speak to them then something is going on (or not) but either way, we need an updated. Even if the update is that there is no update.

I know where you’re coming from sponge and it’s hard to disagree with a lot of what you say.
Few ideas from someone that knows naff all about logistical planning for a sporting event.
Ellerslie Rd - Plenty of space to add mobile beer stands. Small in size and add 5,6 will make a big difference. I’ve even seen ones where people have a tank on their back with a nozzle attached pouring pints and payment done via a contactless terminal.
Get rid of the betting kiosk and have that as another bar. Betting can be done online, via the QPR app if they wanted to make money.
SAR - Half the kiosks aren’t even open. One next to A block is never open. Even opening that halves the queue. I suspect it’s down to cost of staff but surely serving an extra 500 beers pre match and HT pays for 2 people.
Little things could make it slightly better. I just don’t think we’re in any position to get a new stadium and the owners seemingly have no answers either.

Improving LR has been raised with Hoos. He says it is a non-starter because there is no return on considerable investment. It would still be a shit’ole that won’t attract - or get permission for - other events. I’m sure they could get rid of a few pinch points and installl some more bogs but they won’t.

Maybe we should petition him with some sensible suggestions of improvements and get a definitive answer. We’re just taken for mugs letting it drift to suit the club.

I just don’t think we’re in any position to get a new stadium and the owners seemingly have no answers either. I asked about these drinks and having more staff, as it pays for itself in the last lot of Ask Hoos. Basically, said it was down to the catering team who struggled for staff due to covid etc. Then the head ctering guy came out to talk about it. They are quick wins, and I 100% agree with you. Do we need a betting thing? or, after admissions can the ticketing booths be the betting bit? then the betting booths can be drinks. id be inclined to make the kiosks at either end of the loft drink only and do away with those asking for food. they can go to the main one in the middie. what you'll then find is less people in the middle booth wanting just drinks, as they'll go to the wings. Can't comment on SA as I rarely go there. I was more pointing out that we could and would (in my mind) get more than 20k if we had a good stadium. Look at Brighton. Facilities talk, especially for those with kids/young kids. Or those that are a bit older and a have more money, they want better facilities.

You could improve the back of Ellerslie (might work for Loft too but ages since I’ve been there) by removing all the kiosks and bars and installing more toilets. The entry concourse (😁) could be covered with a lightweight roof and all the bars put along it. I don’t understand why people buy a ticket to stand drinking shit beer from plastic watching telly, but there we go. The turnstiles should face out to the street on the extremity of what we own and if there is a safety access issue then put some on a swing gate.

I’m sure it wouldn’t be beyond a half decent architect to improve the useless uninhabited corners of our stands.

Will the club be removing the kpf name from our stadium this summer? yes but it'll be a fan driven investment across 3 phases

They didn’t have a ground for how many years? A new ground was always going to bring the masses back. Not only that but they’re a one city club. Nearest other team is an hour or so away. We’re in the middle of London. From reading through this thread there is definitely things the club could do to improve facilities but at the end of the day this is the same club that’s had one of the worst & most user unfriendly websites I’ve ever come across for how many years? I don’t trust them to do anything quick or in a good fashion. Delighted they’re here playing the bills but on their tenure and as it stands they’re a bit shit.

Not sure if I am imagining this but didn’t it get mentioned before that they would not budge on renaming the stadium from what it is now? at the last supporters’ meeting Hoos said he would consult with Mark Prince about changing name back as it may have served its purpose. Nothing since? Hang on, so we need to ask mark prince for permission? Wtf.

Hoos’ response at the meeting does now look like bullshit though, nothing has happened.

If we stay at hq we need to actively target a different type of fan base. We need to hunt all the one eyed, crooked necked, tea total dwarfs there is to fill the place.

If we said that illegal immigrants that came to the uk had to be qpr supporters we would be full up in two weeks
And offer them a place to stay at Hits house until they get themselves married up to uk women to obtain a free house
And free health care with free money and an I phone 😂😂

Genuinely Think any improvements is kind of dead money as Cant really see any changes making the experience better as for me the real issues are space and structural which only new stadium addresses
I would argue ellersie road is borderline dangerous when there is a full house. No way would it be approved or get planning permission if built today

At the Oval watching the cricket and facilities here are on another planet to Loftus Road. Proper food and drink options bit on steep side but you don’t mind that when it’s served quick, hot and without a queue
