Think Mick is being overated imho Hes not actually achevied anything yet as a manager Cant believe the hype really to be honest Where is this hype coming from - Stevan Gerrard got blame our fanbase partly for the hyping. Made reference to this when wolves were after him. Some of the comments about how great he was were an eye opener. |

I wonder ehen he rejected wokves if we out a larger Release clause in it and upped his wages too I hope that he was offered nothing as he was like 14 games in and had done absolutely nothing to warrant any change in terms. |

Rangers has a strange allure for many in the game though. Particularly those that have been up there. Gazza and Gattuso are great examples. They both speak extremely highly of their time there. I suppose you get to play in front of a huge crowd every home game, get guaranteed European football every year, get to be the talk of the city and all over the back pages every week. As much as the league they play in is pony, they are a monster of a football team with a bigger fanbase than every club outside of Europe's absolute elite. I just see it as risky. Little kudos if it goes well. Career killer if it doesn't. Difference is mate the teams Gazza & Gattuso played in were top class. This current crop are dog shite and not nearly half as good as those sides of yesteryear. Celtic will piss all over Rangers for the next few seasons with their finances. Beale on a hiding to nothing if he goes there. As I said earlier if you don’t beat Celtic to the title it don’t matter who you are. No exceptions! |

Not massively fussed. Wd be annoyed because disruption is rarely good but so far not too much evidence that he is a massive step up on Warbs - some things are better like the quicker, more forward looking football, other things he has shown a lot of naivety.
