He left for a job he always told us he'd leave us for. Some fans need to re-consider the role QPR plays in their life if a manager leaving - regardless of statements previously made - leaves them angry for 11 months. You need take your own advice OldR if you still feel the need to engage in a debate with fans about a manager who fucked your club over 11 months ago. You like him, which is your right, plenty others think he’s a charlatan and it’s their right to express that as long as they want too. The hate people are STILL feeling for Beale is holding the club back. It's vital that people are telling some to get a grip and move on. We have more significant problems than a man taking another job a year ago. |

I'm not a politician canvassing support for an election. My opinion carries no more weight than anyone else, it's just an opinion. In this instance my opinion is that if the people who still hate Beale looked closely at their life and why they are still disgusted that a man had the audacity to take another job they'd probably see that they've something missing. I also believe that the Beale situation is distracting far too many people and holding the club back because the anger is targeting the wrong person and until they focus that anger to those who have put the club in the position we find ourselves in we are holding the club back. |

There were rumours that Rangers were going to sack their manager and he used his network to see if it was true and if he could apply. That happens in every walk of life. Regards unsettling club I would suggest Constant calls for managers head, running down everything he does and calling him names is more detrimental than anything said on this thread. (Not dig at you by way as it’s happening everywhere and I myself have said he should go) |

Supporting any football team comes with a large measure of self-delusion, but then so does buying into any of the prevailing societal memes. Modern societies function on tacit agreements (usually unconscious, as far as I can tell) to abide by a set of cultural rules, and as time goes by, these become ever more abstract in relation to the fundamental realities of existence. Football is a case in point: stripped of its narrative, it's just a game, with no meaning whatsoever. But people choose to take it seriously, in fact its very existence relies upon the fact that they do, and getting passionate about all sorts of minutiae is part of the fun. And if people choose to do that, that's up to them, surely? They don't need lecturing on how and why they do it, or what is the 'correct' attitude.

@oldr the point of this forum is to debate and be open minded about our club and to respect eachothers opinion. i've always said that there are people on this forum that i agree with more than others but i've changed my opinion more than once.
at the end of the day no matter our beliefs about the club or how it should be managed we all want the club to be successful. lots of people are #garethout for example but would be more than happy to see him turn it around and take us on a 10 match winning run.
as for that moley eel prick, some aren't bothered by him but others still hold a grudge, myself included. i'm sure there are footballers/managers that you yourself dislike but lets be frank here, none of that dislike is toxic or lifechanging. yeah i can't stand the eel but i'd pull him out of the water if he was drowning as its not an all consuming hate lol.
football is different to the normal world afterall, we don't have crowds of supporters cheering on tesco staff and celebrating new additions to the meal deal section before galavanting off up the road to brawl with sainsburys fans.
football is a fickle sport yes but given the level of emotional, time and monetary investment people put into it we're allowed to hold people accountible over perceived slights.
just respect others points of view even if you don't agree with it. no one wants to be lectured nor do people like arrogance etc.
