I liked what I saw from him.
Looks aggressive and ready to put it in.
Faded after 60 odd mins but that’s what lack of match fitness would do to anyone. I think he’s gonna be a good acquisition.

I liked what I saw. Positive in taking the ball & getting forward. Put a lovely ball across in the first half for Dykes that any striker worth their salt buries.
As JFR says he clearly faded towards the end but tbf to the lad he only arrived yesterday & clearly isn't fully match fit. Def an upgrade on Kakay & think he will be a real asset when he settles in.

thought he had a solid game and was one of our better players. he made lots of runs but no one really tried to pick him out

Thought after a lively start he faded badly and his distribution was largely poor. Maybe not fully match fit (tho has had a full pre season) or needs more time to gel with teammates. Early days obvs.

Showed promise and put a couple of nice crosses in last night. Would help having a right footer playing in front of him as Dozzell clearly cannot play wide right as he cannot play a straight ball down the line as just too left footed.

Bit disappointed in what I've seen of Ethan Laird so far.
In general, our full backs really need to do a better job with crossing and distribution. It's no good playing this style Beale likes where the full backs overlap if 9 times out of 10 their crosses end up in the stands or on a defenders head.

He’s been the highlight last two games for me. Strong in defence which is his first job And gets forward. Once he sorts crossing we have terrific player on our hands.
Potentially Huge improvement on Moses and Albert last year

Really like this kid. Bombs up and down, tough in the tackle and always geeing the crowd up.
