Looks like a very good addition and a huge upgrade on Kakay.

Really like him and as far as loaning someone we could not have hoped for someone as good as him.

Best RB we've had since... don't even remember when. Walker Would agree, tho he was another step up entirely (good tho Ethan is proving)

Potentially available on free end of season. Thoughts or you had enough.

A no from me. And we can't afford his wage demand any way I think.

Potentially available on free end of season. Thoughts or you had enough. The Ethan Laird who started off looking to make an impact and great impression(to Utd?) yes please. The Ethan Laird who hasn’t given a fuck since Michael left, no thanks. If signing him means early Ethan returns then he’s exactly the sort we should be bringing in to sell for profit later.

Thinking about it, if he didn’t bother because he thought he was going back anyway then he probably isn’t the sort you’d want around the club. Did he just lose form or lose interest? We’ll never know.

He don’t strike me as player who never bothered personally just think he lost bit of form and confidence same way and time team has.

Agree, generally don’t think he’s got a don’t care attitude.Get the feeling Critchley upset one or two for not training properly and players closed ranks on Critchley.
Laird is a big talent in forward positions and has a great leap on him, definitely a Premiership player for me.

I'd take him in a shot.
Shown us his potential and ability where he looked brilliant. A dip in form for him & pretty much every other player coupled with niggling injuries has hampered him.

I thought it looked like he got a bit found out before his injury, but it was probably more a case of the whole team underperforming after Beale went to GR.

It's a yes from me, for all the reasons mentioned above. The guy is talented and we need talented players if we're going to not just survive, but thrive in this division. Or just stick with Osman Kakay if you have no ambition...

Absolutely would take him in a shot. Ainsworth would get him firing on all cylinders again. The sticking point is the fact we can't afford his wages.

He’s not a prem quality currently, could be with games under his belt, so if he leaves it’s likely he goes championship club which means championship wages unless it’s someone just come down with deeper pockets.
