I suspect Freeman will be off in the summer, I'm looking forward to seeing Chair in a more prominent role next year. Unfortunately, aside from Smyth and possibly Deng, I can't see many of the other players out on loan cutting it judging by how their loan spells have gone.

Think he's done very well. Seen people say 'but it's in league 2' he's still got to do it no matter what league it is. Lets hope he will step up again next season. I'm sure he will.

To be fair Jeff he was doing it here before we loaned him, on the rare occasions he got minutes. He was the one player we loaned out that I couldn't get my head around!

He was probably the one player that could've just slotted in without any problems and as you say played very well last season when he got a few appearances. Think he may have a central role next season

the three are now coming of age at next season is the chance they all need to grab.
bright has already cemented his place by my reckoning. lets see who will join him in our future starting 11.

I reckon that Smyth is a proper player and still don’t understand why he wasn’t kept in and around our first team this year.
I hope with Chair that he’s introduced to the first 11 the correct way and that our fans give him time to adapt to this level.
Some of the comments about Eze and the expectations our fans put on him this season were ridiculous. It would be good to see Eze and Chair rotated at times next year, driving each other on.
Smyth, BOS, Chair and Eze are all extremely talented lads and if they clicked and we find the right manager who can bring the best out of them then we might surprise a few teams next year.

All three would benefit from having a right horrible bit of work in the middle of the park to look after them.

Ilias Chair 'the best player that has ever worn a Stevenage Football Club shirt' according to boss Dino MaamriaSpeaking to CometSport's Dan Mountney ahead of Stevenage's final game of the League Two season against Cheltenham, Maamria lauded the attacker, saying: “Ilias is the best player that has ever worn a Stevenage Football Club shirt. “He's probably the best player that has played in League Two. “Put all of that aside, I see him everyday and he is a fantastic kid to work with. It is a pleasure to have him. “If it is his last game, but he's adamant it won't be, we've got to appreciate him. Our fans have enjoyed having him, our players have enjoyed having him and I'm sure he'll be a regular in the Championship next season.” Maamria believes Chair's relentlessness is what makes him such a special talent, adding: “He got kicked to death at Mansfield last weekend. He got no protection from the referee but he was so brave. “He kept going, getting on the ball, never shied away from it and that's the difference between a top player and an average player. “He made things happen to score that goal, he had no right to score it. Not many players can do that but he did.” Read more: www.thecomet.net/stevenage-fc/ilias-chair-the-best-stevenage-player-ever-1-6032617

Not bad comments considering Freeman used to play for them.

Playoffs possible for them. OK, duh I should have checked that!! They won but the teams above them did enough, so no play offs for Stevenage.

Were lucky to have Chair and Eze in the ranks at the same time
Need find way of having them both in the side as they both could cause chaos for opposition if both were firing
Can’t waste this current generation/squad of players. Just feels like we have turned corner and are on the edge of something

IMO Chair & Eze will tie up defenders (and midfielders) so much that there will be plenty of space for Wells, in particular, to get in to scoring positions throughout a game. Opposition so far have already doubled up on Eze and when Chair came on against the Terriers he got the same treatment straight after the immediate impact he made, from that point on Huddersfield presented much less of a threat as they couldn't afford to push players forward. I am not going to get into second guessing MW as he is doing an excellent job without my input but based on what I have seen so far this season I would keep Scowen in for the away game, as he adds bite in the midfield, and bring Ilias on with half an hour to go if we need it. Against Swansea I would like to see Eze & Chair start together with BOS providing the width on the left and Manning slightly more withdrawn. Pugh on the right in front of Kane with Barbet, Hall, Cameron and Amos completing the outfield and Joe back in goals.

This bloke is going to be one of the best players in the division....I've absolutely no doubt about that.
We'll probably sell him for £1m in January to some PL side...
