Funny thing is, unlike days gone by, our starting XI is not really a given. We do have good choices in a lot of positions, and finding out what works with who, looks like it's taking a while. I suppose it is a good position to be in, but it makes the gelling process a bit longer. Rather this than the last few seasons though.

We should start with Lumley and Kelly in goals, Wells, Mlakar and Hugill up front, BFG, Hall, Barbet, Masterson, Manning, Kane, Rangel and Cameron in defence and then pack the midfield with all our other players. I'd like to see teams try and beat us then.

Can play together. Worked at Wednesday. These two are a far better combination than Eze / Freeman. As much as I really liked Freeman, I always thought Eze stepped into the shadows a bit when in the same side as Freeman usually took over everything. Looks a more natural attacking combo with Chair. |

Notwithstanding Hugill is banging them in, Wells always looks a lot better when those two are playing. Eze especially seems to be on his wavelength.
