Just been re-reading some of the absolute bollocks that twats who regard themselves as journalists put out. One is even suggesting that Mick’s representatives have been talking to Wolves and he has agreed personal terms. All before they had even requested permission.

Clearly wasn't bollox at all that Wolves were in for Beale so those reports were 100% accurate, despite some refusing to believe it at the time. Its also pretty clear from Beale's own words that he was at least thinking about the approach. And it is hardly a stretch to think that Wolves had tapped up his agent. For all we know Wolves and the agent might have provisionally agreed on salary etc but it all came down to whether Beale wanted to go or not. We also don't know what has gone on behind the scenes: for all we know QPR might have promised him an improved deal or a promotion bonus if he stays. So much goes on that we don't get to hear the half of, understandably. Anyway, its brilliant he has decided to stay. As others have said, wonder if the brilliant performance last night swayed him. Not that it matters now, delighted we still have him. |
