One is even suggesting that Mick’s representatives have been talking to Wolves and he has agreed personal terms. All before they had even requested permission. What passes for journalism these days is quite remarkable. Just a bunch of low life’s looking to make a name for themselves. Leaving top of the table QPR to take over at a basket case of a club? Seriously! To be fair mate, sources very close to the club were pretty sure he was on his way last night! Clearly Wolves wanted him. The issue is that so many simply made up stories to embellish what was clearly nothing other than their interest. Even if he decided to talk to them after getting permission this morning and went on to accept whatever they were offering and left, it doesn’t alter the absolute fact that these stories were nothing other than pure conjecture. Sadly, typical of the way so much is done these days. |

Did I read this here or elsewhere, that maybe Mick used the situation to improve his deal with Rangers? Either way, if he did, and Rangers' stepped up, then fair play, because it means he's even more invested in the success of this club and more likely to stay longer.

One thing I would say is that this season, come January he is backed and given whatever he needs to get us over the line. If not, then he will have every right to look elsewhere.
This has to be a show of complete unity. And to be fair, I’ve yet to see a single thing so far to suggest it isn’t.

Fantastic performance last night and that is the standard we need to play at. i wonder how much last night influenced his decision? Definitely gave him boost being top of the league. Players know where they stand now. The best thing for them is to have Beale around. The easiest way to ensure he is, is for them to continue performing for him and I have no doubt that the likes of Willock and Chair are astute enough to make a similar decision if yhey are ever given a choice to make. All points to a bright future.
Having said that, quite a few ran out of Leicester having been swayed by teams that finished below them. 🤭

He's come to the right decision I think. All I will say is it's a shame it couldn't have been kept in house a bit better.
Perhaps Beale has been guilty of being a bit too honest. Could have denied the speculation in the media, even if secretly he was having a good think about it. I think that's what most experienced Managers would have done. Spared us all the media circus.
All of this also doesn't fill me with any confidence Beale will be here for long. Am I in dreamland if I say 1 season in the Championship and 1 in the Prem would do? 🤣

It means I did a ring round of people I know who have direct contact with staff up to boardroom level at the club. People who have mobile numbers of some of our Directors on their phones in some cases. To a man, they all said they thought Beale was off. I think Jimmy Rabbit did similar and posted what he found out on here.
I'm sure the press probably got similar feedback, hence some of the articles doing the rounds suggesting it was basically a done deal. At one point I think he was 10/1 on with the bookies to take the Wolves job.
In my opinion, it wasn't just lazy journalism. I think all the signals last night were he was going to be joining Wolves. Whether he's had a U-turn overnight or whether he's just handled this in a way that gave the impression he wanted the move is the only bit that is uncertain for me.
