All linked to Wasps isn't it? I'm assuming them going into admin has left a big hole in the finances.

I am driving there with three others. My son and his mates are getting the train but they seemed to be sold out or unreliable so I am sacrificing the drink sadly.

Big pitch so should suit our style of keeping the ball however lots of ground to cover and we have looked bit heavy in legs last few games

Thoughts on team?
I’d go;
Dieng Laird, Dunne, JCS, Paal Field, Amos, Tim Chair, Dykes, Willock

Yeah, that's what I'd go with, with a slight tweak:
Dieng Laird, Dunne, JCS, Paal Field Amos Tim Chair Willock Dykes

I’d like to see us play with 3 centre halves now we’ve got a left sided cb back and get the wing backs further up the pitch. Both of them can do a lot of damage. Suspect he will wait for a home game for that this one’s going to be tricky

I would bench Dykes play 4 3 3 with Willock,Chair and Richards up top.
Full backs pushing on when attacking.
Dropping when defending.
Just make sure you look after the ball,no fancy flicks, play it fast and simple.

Sod's Law we get a result against one of the form teams Coventry 2nd (ahead of Burnley), we're 15th.
Ever hopeful we'll get something though...

Absolutely flabergasted that anyone on here is STILL suggesting starting with Dykes, even when he puts in a shift it fucks up the distribution, we stop playing in units. Only way you can play him is as one of a two in a plan B. Or C. oh and btw our form has collapsed since we got with 'try of coven' etc. Coventry Away would do me.

It isn't a bottom three team so we have a chance.

I think stan's been at it with the alternative match day thread names all season more or less, tbf.

This all makes sense, except for the fact that Mick is bringing Richards back slowly - listen to his interview in the MB thread. Therefore Dykes is very likely to start this last game before the break.

Can't see us getting anything from this 1 myself, Coventry are a tidy outfit & will be high on confidence atm after some good form (think they've won the last 3 on the spin?).
Goes without saying I would love to be proven wrong but I think a 2-1 defeat is on the cards.
Safe travels to the 3.5k making the trip.

Unfortunately I agree Matty. If we had won the two home games this would almost be a free hit but now there is more pressure and they are a decent side. Only thing I will say is they may play a more open game and allow us to play a bit. WBA effectively stopped us and Huddersfield just defended well.

Yea true mate we could fare better against a more open footballing side. Would be bloody good to go into the break off the back of a good result!
