I think stadiums abroad are often owned by the local authorities - can you imagine our fucking councils having a say in staging football matches? 😂 It would be an absolute nightmare with lots of small minded nobodies poking their misinformed noses in. We'd have Rainbow Laces and Diversity Day everyday. Oh. Wait..... Selling our ground and sharing another would be nuts. That's about all that's left of our soul.

Agree so what is the answer In debt for our whole existance now Need Mittal to buy club pay debt off And put in plans for a new ground We are just a floater atm in a big sea Going nowhere fast in vast debt Ok, not knowing anything more than what is debated on this board…….they need to decide how long they are prepared to plough money in and have a target in mind for when they want the club back on its feet. Cut the wage bill to cover only essentials. Get rid of Hoos and Les and employ a really good CEO to start from scratch. They must have contacts. CEO doesn’t have to be a football man - probably a much better idea if he wasn’t. He runs the business and employs a good manager (or DOF now we have GA). All been said before but the only way now is to accept we’re rock bottom and start again with new bodies with new ideas.

There is another fix to this which many fans wouldn't entertain. I'll say it anyway though. Sell our real estate. Move to a welcoming borough further West. Not ideal, but with the redevelopments going on at the old BBC land, a developer would likely pay a pretty penny for Loftus Road. Would bring in a decent cash injection and allow us to do some favourable accounting given FFP allows a certain amount of investment when it comes to physical infrastructure etc. Think we have to look at all avenues tarbs Share Readings Ground ? Share Fulhams Ground ? Share Watfords Ground ? Ac milan and Inter share a ground Two of the biggest clubs in the world Pay all the debts off by selling our shit ground Start again its a different stadium culture in italy, most stadiums are owned by the council and are also underfunded and shit lol. no way should we ground share with another club for the long term. moving out of the borough and further afield to the likes of ealing etc would be better.

Maybe there is somewhere out along the A40 but I can’t really think of anywhere local to the west of us. Let’s face it, they’ve missed the boat massively. We’re not getting a new stadium in the 2020s at least.

Does anyone know the name of the company that our owners set up to buy land and develop it when it was up for grabs in old oak project.
I’m guessing that ex QPR owner Jamie Rueben was heavily involved as along with his brother that was what they’re known for.
Maybe it was BS but I saw a punter on Twitter claiming the company completed 650 property units valued at £450k a pop.

Need Mittal to buy club pay debt off M family could have done that years ago and chose not to. Since then it's just been about Amit retaining an interest. Hard to see them jumping in now, but Reilly may want to increase his stake. God alone knows why.

I'd be 100% against selling Loftus Road unless we are moving into a more modern stadium that we own.
Selling up and sharing Reading or Fulham's ground would be the equivalent of selling your house for some beer money and moving into your mates spare room.

Those saying we don't need a stadium; Bristol City who have done a lot of work on their ground, make £7m on non match day.
We make less than 1m.

A little bit more on why perhaps our owners can afford the supposed £2m a month losses? I remember the purpose of this project was to finance a new stadium? www.vistrygroup.co.uk/media-center/press-releases/housebuilders-two-unique-schemes-score-chance-for-major-planning-awards

Apologies go to Hitman for his previous work which I missed completely Stan.
Surprising how nobody has thought to pose some admittedly hard questions to the owners regarding the profits from this project short and long term.
West Acton posted Coventry City returns for 21/22 season and their losses were circa £7m despite not owning their own stadium and paying rental fees accordingly. It’s more hard evidence that this club is truly special at imploding itself in every conceivable way possible under these owners.

Don't suppose they will be though - expecting standard politicians' ploy of them ignoring the question and just spieling out what want to say.

Hopefully some very difficult questions will be asked. RFI in attendance and there's a long list of them. Can we see the questions? I’d like to ask: “We all guessed I think that we did gamble last season to try to get promoted. I think we all didn’t realise how much. I don’t think many take issue with trying to get promoted that season. However, what I don’t understand is why after that season, you wouldn’t then sell 1 or maybe 2 of Chair, Willock, Dieng, Field to try to offset some of the losses so that we are not in a mad panic this summer to sell them with 1 less year on their contracts.”

They deserve kick in the spuds but not sure that’s one we can give them.

And surely any value would be higher last summer than this coming one given contract length.

But someone has to make an offer to sell. They are on record saying there was no interest in anyone.

How much is Ruben actually worth? I had a quick look and couldn't see it. It also says that he stepped down when Tony did.
Also can't see what other clubs he is a part of, as he mentioned in the last interview.
