A certain Stan Bowles was known as a bit of a troubled type Hardly impressive credentials. You might be right, it may all turn to shit. But hopefully, you’ll have a similar experience to our old friend WeAre, who was so fed up with Mr Warnock and signing Clint and Shaun that he gave up his Season Ticket. |

Christ Almighty! Never seen quite so much negativity on here as we’ve had recently. I’m choosing to back Gareth, the players he decides to keep and those he brings in. I can only assume from reading the amount of vitriol aimed at him, that should we finish in the top half of what many appear to regard as an exceptionally strong Championship next season, then it will be regarded as a phenomenal achievement and testament to his management. Surely they deserve a chance and our full backing until such time as they stoop to last season’s levels. Am sure every fan on here will back the manager and the team come kick off first game of the season - but fans have every right to call out the shit show that has preceded this season |

It’s like a once decent shop, then things change, they start selling off the best stock and replace with inferior goods. This goes on for a while but not sustainable as image is floundering and footfall drops as not attractive anymore. Eventually shop folds. All very true… to a point. But the shop has set up a new direct supply chain in Heston, which they hope will start producing superior goods again - and at better value. |

Just sayin mate but i like the positivity We were on a death spiral before Ainsworth came in mate, but he found a way to keep us up. He did the job he was hired to do, even if it wasn't particularly nice to watch. I'm basically expecting the same this coming season. Ainsworth will find a way to win enough games on whatever budget he has to work with. That's what he does and that's why we've hired him. Not ideal, but it's where we are as a club. |

We have too many injury prone players in the squad already make no mistake about it ... nor do we seem to have a competant medical team that are able to 1) make the players more resilliant and 2) provide good treatment to get them fit sooner than they do. |

Would you want to stay at the club atm I don't think so bud I think there are going to be many changes mate. In all likelihood, some will turn out to be for the better, others may not. But as in life in general, I tend to try to see the positive effects rather than the possible negatives. Not least because a poor mindset tends to result in less positive outcomes. Fact is, we stayed up when at one stage it wasn’t looking too good. Gareth will ensure a far better work ethic and attitude amongst the players, than many of them exhibited last season. And of course, there will definitely be three worst teams than us, so we are in no danger of going down. So all in all, I’m not really finding much to get too depressed about. It would be nice to be chasing a play off spot, but I don’t think that is at all realistic this season. But with everyone pulling in the same direction, then who knows what the following season may have in store. |

Well put, brights. I for one am looking forward to seeing our players giving their all every minute on the pitch. Think we've had too many half-arsed players for quite some time now. I am certain Gareth won't put up with any of that nonsense.

no idea who he is other than that he was on loan at northampton last year.
