Think that's pretty inevitable, be amazed if they stayed.
Hope the owners are using this time to have a really serious think about strategy - is it still about developing youngsters, or it is it about picking up cast off from the big boys, is it about data, is it about recruitment in the UK or other GEOs. And once they have worked all that out, what kind of director of football do they go for? My preference would be someone like the Brentford bloke described by Stanley. Maybe the CEO needs to be someone outside football, more rooted in how a normal, profitable business is run. Hoos seemed pretty lazy to me with very few ideas to grow the fan base, max out the revenue from the ground etc.

don't have much of an issue with hoos and ramsey personally. they work with what they have and imo do a good enough job.
les is a disaster though. aside from sorting out the finances when he first came in, what else has he done? where's this conveyer belt of talent? why have we been overtaken by most of our rivals? etc, you could go on and on with it.
8 years is a lifetime in football and in his 8 years shaping our club he's been more like a wrecking ball than anything else.

I will return to the ground once Ferdinand has gone as there is no need for the position he holds. Him not showing up last Friday for the team reunion would make you think all is not well between him and the club. The club should replace both Ferdinand and Ransay with one guy who overseas all the football club. Get rid of Willock, Laird, Lowe, Clarke-Salter, Dieng, Johansen, Dickie, Dozzell and replace them with men who give it their all.

I don’t think booing makes any difference at all personally.
I’ve had managers tell me I’m a cunt and it don’t bother me at all nor did it change my efforts. Alan can back me up on this.

So what is the relationship between Acton and Wycombe (I refuse to believe Westy is really Alan's carer)? I assume Wycombe a fair bit older judging by the general abuse that depicts him as being more geriatric than Stefan Johansen. Clearly live in quite different areas. Westy must be Scottish judging by the Aberdeen support. You almost seem like family given the amount of abuse you hurl at each other, I mean you make GT sound almost polite...

Alan loves the abuse as it’s the only attention he gets. He’s actually ok on occasions. When I moved my season ticket my first thoughts were Jesus there is an old cunt in front of me, but I’ve invested a lot of time in Alan trying educate him and make him a bit more modern thinking but he still turns up on occasions in 3/4 length shorts which makes him bit of a wrongun as train spotters wear 3/4 length shorts and the Germans. |
