Absolutely he should go out on loan - he needs game time. The club will correctly keep all matters private.

But we need options in a game, never mind the risk of injury. Frey and Celar are very similar. Kolli has a role here. Who else is there?

Same excuse that was used for Armstrong and it done the poor lad no favours at all in his career with us and potentially longer term for him.
Your either good enough or your not no point just keeping someone around for a season because there is no one else if in the long term your damaging your asset.
If he’s going get proper minutes and we think he’s ready then keep him around, if he’s going do an Armstrong when he first came back and do 5mins of bench here and there then get him out getting some proper experience especially if we think he’s a longer term prospect.

Kolli is daft if he refused to go out on loan. I like him, and reckon he's got a future at this level, he isn't there yet though and he ain't gonna get there with 20 mins off the bench here and there. Needs a season of regular football in my opinion.

Squad game so you need a squad. Cant send them all out on loan.

He is currently away on international duty (Algeria) and why he did not feature against Brentford. I like him - I hope he signs an extension / new contract. He is better than Armstrong IMHO

Question can a player refuse to go on loan without any form of disciplinary action against them. He’s at the end of the day an employee and if the club thinks a loan is in his best interests and ours and for X period your going play at say Colchester can they refuse.
No different to a player refusing to be on bench or saying I’m not playing out of position they would be dealt with by management.
Thoughts???

First is this story true ? - doubt the club will announce anything but team selection will provide a pretty good clue. wasn’t involved against Brentford and eight subs used??? I believe he was away for a training camp with the Algeria national U@U21/development squad and not available. He is only named in the Development Squad on the offie but then so is Lloyd and I expect we will see development squad players on the bench quite often. The fact he is/was away could also explain why a loan has not gone through yet.

He's competing with Saito, Dembele, Chair, Smyth and Lloyd more than Celar or Frey. Either way, he's behind all of them with the possible exception of Lloyd in my opinion.

He is better than Armstrong IMHO Difficult to say as Kolli has played so few minutes. I think people overrate him.

It appeared in a couple of LFW threads including one on Sept 2 re the development squad to play at Hull www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/forum/312400/dev-squad/#27It transferred on here in this thread back a page or 2.

Squad game so you need a squad. Cant send them all out on loan. still have to be able to contribute if needed if your in the squad. Who says he can’t contribute? Do we send Morrison or Fox out on loan because Cook, Dunne and JCS are ahead of them? They can’t contribute either unless they are picked or rotated. Need a squad but can’t all play all the time.

I think we have enough options up top that we could afford to ship one of Kolli or Lloyd out on loan.

Get that mate but everyone was moaning that we hadn’t brought another striker in and now we want to send the only guy who is anything like a third striker out on loan. I can imagine the reaction if Smyth or Lloyd are ever played through the middle as an option or emergency.

Agreed on Smyth, he's an out and out winger. I personally would say Lloyd looks better equipped to play number 9 than Kolli.

Missed my point totally. Contribute as in ability not just a body in squad.
Down to Marti to decide that; if he’s looking loan him (if true) then he’s made a decision he’s not at that stage where he can.

Probably a moot point anyway. Can't really loan him anywhere viable until the window reopens in January.

Be very frustrating IF Kohli is running down his contract, and not much thanks for developing him. If he is then right the club takes a strong line. If he refuses a loan the club should respectfully highlight the career trajectory of Kakay. Although I think he is much more talented than Armstrong he hasn’t done enough yet to excite other clubs I would imagine.
