To be fair, I have a proper switched on mate - £10 minimum bet on their 2x3 offer so well risky and some (Weare) would say stupid but hey, after last night

Unreal scenes in the Champions League as a whole this season. Spurs v Scousers will be the worst 0-0 in the history of football 😂

Do like Spurs manager. He’s also brought on quite a few quality England players. Rose and Ali were excellent tonight.

Will be interesting to see what EUFA come up with to stop the English teams in future.

🤢 Hopefully Liverpool can do the business Not sure how anyone over a certain age would want Liverpool to win... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heysel_Stadium_disasterThis cost us a number of times to compete in Europe and denied teams like Wimbledon, Oxford and Coventry their only ever chance. Never forget that just because Liverpool fans have. We have a 'perfect storm' scenario of Liverpool losing the title despite picking up 97 points and losing the European Cup final to an English team. I'm definitely over a 'certain age' and I want Liverpool to win. I don't feel burdened by or any allegiance to the past versus my enjoyment of fabulous football. I genuinely don't care whether Liverpool 'denied' teams or even that they pipped us to the title in 76. That's done and dusted.

Would love it if Spurs beat them and they failed to win the league. Not because of past events, just because you'd never hear the bloody end of it if they win it.

Like both managers and in poch spurs have someone that has improved every player in that squad. Kane was linked to us in 2014 now look at him up there with the very best in the world. Both play high tempo football and remember playing spurs after we got promoted and getting spanked 4-0 that could have been 12 and thought there was a huge change in them. Man Utd should have had paid the ransom for him but their loss means Spurs's gain. Hopeful of a great final and that the fan is the winner.

Spurs were on the ropes for one and a half of them two legs. Fantastic victory for them. I'm neutral for the final, let's just hope it's as good as the two semi-finals

Started reading that link OldR which suggests that UEFA had to take their share of the blame too for insisting the game went ahead there, despite warnings that the stadium was quite literally crumbling and totally unsuitable for staging such an event, especially as other far superior stadia were available.

My sole issue with Liverpool was simply that they used the emotional leverage of Hillsbro to campaign against any form of standing, including safe standing, despite hard evidence. I think it might have arrived in the EPL by now if hadn't been for that.
It is also true to say that to some extent Heysel has been written out of the Liverpool story. They also took a very relaxed line with Suarez and his erm problematic behaviour.
Having said that I've always had a great time up there and regard Shankly as the greatest twentieth century post war manager.

I'm still in shock at this weeks football lol. The way all of them (Chelsea apart) showed so much grit and willingness to win is great for the game. The Liverpool and Spurs games were very special indeed.
