We are have become a laughing stock under Ainsworth. Don't meant to be contrary Sparks but that's subjective IMO. Too early to draw the knives out until 10 games into the season. Where I agree, and have said it for months, is we've failed for the last SIX transfer windows to sign a goal scoring striker or two and, once again, have left it way too late. The last time was Wells and Hugill three farking years ago. Of course it’s subjective Stan but these type of graphs only drill home how poorly we look right now. That graph highlights we are stuck in no man’s land, neither fast or slow controlled build up team that runs out of gas after 60mins. Nobody in our team are playing to their full potential except Amstrong. Most of this team are working off second ball scraps. Persuade me with a valid reason why things will change after 10 games.

Persuade me with a valid reason why things will change after 10 games. For one thing, because he's become more flexible in his playing style. Less one dimensional now and has conceded he's needed to adapt to the strengths and weaknesses of his squad. His hands are tied however without being supported in the transfer market, particularly with firepower upfront, and with 10 days to go that situation is becoming more and more concerning.

Yes I can get on board he’s become more flexible, so kudos to Ainsworth but I suspect it’s come too late with the players imo.
If I’m honest Ainsworth burnt his bridges with most of the players in his inside training video, entitled Ainsworth mic up.
He made a big deal, twice in fact in lecturing players “I’m probably trying to teach you how to suck eggs”
He said to certain extent I don’t want you dropping short to recieve a pass to feet I want you in the box. Come on Ainsworth forget about your pre-historic type of football what about coming short and rolling defenders to get a shot on goal. It appeared he wanted someone to bomb down the touchline and put crosses in,shame we haven’t got raft of players capable of doing that.
I’m sure there will be some on here that refute that intension but for me I found it against what I would want to see our attacking players attempt, I mean it’s modern football.

Gerry Francis in the house. Just had a brief chat with hoos outside loft bar. He is happy with spine of the team but for what good it’s worth, I told him straight that the striker situation is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Ps sorry we never made it to adilade. Next time for sure. I told him, I told the yank prick but he would not listen. Us fans know far better than the mugs running our club.
