If we don’t sign a forward in this window. Just ONE forward I really am lost for words. Genuinely.
We are free falling towards the drop and have been since day one due to lack of goals and presence up front yet they can’t find ANY money for ANY forward.
Absolutely ridiculous and as Al mentioned reckless.
Can’t believe this shit.

Theory.... the naming rights were to avoid FFP fines/deductions which will be greater than administration penalties (10 points) so they think they are doing the right thing to give us a fighting chance of survival as a club but, of course, with one eye on how much we owe them...

Genuinely puzzled by some of the responses here, including from posters I like and respect. Do you really think it is a choice? Its obviously that they can't. You might not like that brute fact but that's clearly the reason.

re administration - think they have probably accepted relegation as preferable to administration (which might have followed another FFP fine)

Yes they need wages obviously but if we can’t get in a free transfer to help us we are in the mud. Big time.

This sounds like administration light to me. One possibility is that the owners are walking away and the club will go into administration hence rumours of 10 point deductions earlier this week...That will cripple us for a decade if we ever come back. You could very well be spot on.

He brought in the coach who now most likely will leave at the end of this season. My word!! tbh i think you're actually the new chairman and are hiding in plain sight. you recommended marti long before he was appointed for 1, and for 2 the new CEO's last name sounds awfully like norway hmmm....

Even some old carthorse like Chris Martin is prob demanding (very rough guess) 15k a week. And sensing our desperation was prob trying to get a 2 yr deal Coleback style. Even if it were for one year that is £780,000. You could buy a house in quite a nice part of London for that. There is no such thing as a "free" transfer in football because wages are obscene. The naming rights stuff was clearly to pay off Ainsworth (and all his backroom staff) and sign Marti and his backroom team. Nothing left after that. The only v v slight positive I see is prob better to go down and not waste money than waste it on some shit player who isn't going to make enough of a difference and only make our financial hell even worse.

How can we not even afford that?

Precisely. The answer is obvious but some fans just refuse to hear it even when the answer is provided.

"GET LEE HOOS OUT OF MY CLUB" Nourry replaces Hoos. "HE LOOKS AND SOUNDS SHIT, BRING BACK HOOS"
QPR fan logic.
(Not on here, on social media, but its pretty widespread).

Basically all this means is we are totally fucked
As a football club no wonder all those
Cunts have left in the last 3 months
Appalling all of them they should be ashamed

We have been calling for club get people who know the data and analytics like Brentford and Brighton and seems with this guy or his contacts we might have opened that door. Way more to like than dislike. He’s very slick and says all the right things which makes me think your acting a bit but got give him a chance. Must say Hoos looks awful in his video from how he looked when he joined the club looks like it’s well and truly broken him.

No way Martin is asking for that. He'd want a wage obv but he's at the end of a career going downhill. He would want far less. Not saying the rest of what you say isn't right, but he won't be on 15k now.

Greatest respects Shania I dont think the comms have been bad. Problem is we have fans who make absolute shit up, masses believe it then they expect the club to come out denying or confirming everything! latest example ten point deduction.
Sometimes fans need to stop take a breath and try sniff out the truth from the BS on social media.

Interview with Nourry is basically saying the last 8/10 years never happened. He’s stating the same aims now as then.

To offer a counter argument I find it questionable that anyone could listen to the interview and NOT speculate what is around the corner... I can't stand conspiracy theorists and most people who spread them I think of as loons, but there's a lot of things which don't add up here and where most conspiracy theories are easily debunked by providing peer reviewed analysis and actual documentation, there is nothing out there to alleviate the concerns and quash any theories about our situation.
