Too early to start him at Stoke? I'm undecided tbh. All depends where he'll be at fitness-wise. If he's match fit then it's a no-brainer.

Will take more than a week for him to get match fit, Probably looking nearer a month. My justification would be he's a big target man who clearly knows where the goal is.

Watch him score a couple tomorrow. It was bloody brilliant not having to constantly shout “you useless cunt” at one of our own players on Saturday. Come on Frey, keep that donkey out of the team now and bang in a couple tomorrow. You r’sssssssss

Come on Frey, keep that donkey out of the team now and bang in a couple tomorrow. You r’sssssssss I'd take a punt and say Dykes will start tomorrow. Marti rotates and I think he senses the crowds displeasure and frustration with Dykes at home so opts more to play him away. Plus it's a quick turnaround and not sure Frey has two games in 3 days in him. The other option, Muscles didn't do himself any favours Saturday. Barely affected anything when he came on.

Got to knock it over the top for Muscles to run onto and battle defender. We didn’t do that when he came on so that limits his impact. We might play more that way away.

If fit, Frey has to start next 2 home games.

Really want this geezer to work out for us so there is no question about getting rid of Dykes.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw him on the pitch at the end celebrating the win with his teammates and coaching staff. Good to see, because I was beginning to fear there was something else wrong, and not just an injury.

Came in to do a job.
The main one being to show donkey and muscles there is some competition.
Unfortunately, his fitness hasn’t been great. One thing I will say though is that he does give 100%.
Would I want us to sign him? No.
We need to go into next season, with two very good strikers to give us half a chance & I’m absolutely certain we will do that under Marti.

If he’s staying and Donkey still has a stone in his hoof at the start of the season why not play him at 9? Won’t win anything in the air - so little change there - but he can hold the ball and he can score goals. Seriously, what’s to lose if we haven’t signed a striker? Could work well for club and player. I don’t mean false 9, just play as a striker. I'm pinning my hopes on Frey coming back a lean, mean scoring machine. Old grey bentos, the proof be in the pudding

I personally think he is a dud, but really hope I am proved wrong & he is a new man come August with a full pre-season under his belt.

I'm pinning my hopes on Frey coming back a lean, mean scoring machine. absolutely 100% lads, lads..... he can't run properly. Once they gone they gone. Over the years we've specialised in a few with no legs..... Brett Angel comes to mind, was a decent hitman as a youngster, by the time he got us we had to wheel him round the park.
