If our defence was doing it’s job, we wouldn’t be conceding so many goals. Lumley is a part of our defence, the last line, but the blame lies squarely on those in front of him for allowing those situations to occur so frequently. He can’t rely on them and they can’t rely on him. And if Lumley was doing HIS job....

Clearly the first goal owed more to Kane, but Joe should've stopped it. Feel bad to be beating up on him, but it's every game now he drops a clanger. Shame, but there we are.

Everyone has a job to do. If Manning loses the ball first, it doesn't mean Kane and Lumley get off without blame.

His confidence seemed to drop after the Aston Villa match last season. Not an excuse as he is not good enough on the whole, but anyway..

Don't think its being suggested anyone is in for him yet. Only that he has a year left on his deal and we may choose to cash in rather than renew.
Seems likely that Deing is gonna be offered a new deal so it makes sense. I think the you Polish kid is showing some promise too so you may also see Barnes shipped out.

Lumley I am sorry to say will never make a decent keeper if he stays with us.
The slightest error and the fans will be on his back due to his past blunders for us.

Don't think the Managers style of play helps Lumley much. He's useless with the ball at his feet and I think he'd also benefit from a better organised defence in front of him. I suspect he'll move on to another Championship level club and do OK. Doubt he's any better than that though.

As long as Dieng gets a chance then I can't see an issue with Lummers going

would rather see him given another shot here. probably alone here but i rate him more than our other keepers and he was solid after the restart. 2 seasons ago he kept 14 clean sheets but when hes on form hes always looked good to me, think he has the potential to be a top championship keeper one day

Average keeper Corbs. Good shot stopper but pretty poor in every other aspect of keeping which in today’s game you can’t get away with.
Not point pulling off a great save to throw one in your Net later in the game. I had high hopes for him and was big fan but the volume of errors leading to goals last season told me he’s simply not reliable enough
I’m genuinely shocked given last seasons effort anyone wants him let alone willing to part money. Anything over £500k and we’re robbing them

The number of goals we conceded as a direct result of a Lumley mistake last season was ridiculous.

And I think he is treated a little bit harshsly here, but then again I think most fans have realised that he is not a natural fit for Warbs style of play, and have given up on him improving as a QPR player. So the logical thing for Joe and QPR would probably be to part ways before things turn more sour. Can´t compare him to Dieng as I haven´t seen enough of him, but personally I prefer Joe to Kelly as well.
