What should we do with the players not called up?
They look exhausted so I would say give them week or ten days off so they can go away rest their legs and hopefully come back bit fresher

Is bizarre that during pandemic where travel is discouraged sides are travelling all over Europe (international and champions league) to play football.

I get it but what a shame. 66 was great and 96 even better in many ways, but we now have so many foreign players in the domestic game our national teams look sub-standard. At least the nation still gets revved up for the bi-annual chair throwing contests.

i like the international tournaments but the breaks are boring as hell. theres very little passion there from the players anymore and when we can't even beat denmark or struggle against weaker teams it just saps the life out of me.
its hardly like we don't have any good players either as many of our players could walk into any national side
