Haven't bothered watching any women's football since my prejudice tells me it's probably lower than league 2 standard and I won't watch that until we're there!

I will follow it, but to be honest, I feel that the overall quality was better a few seasons ago, and I would have enjoyed watching the best player of them all: Ada Hegerberg(Norway). Sad thing is that she has turned down the opportunity to play for her country after a lot of controversy. Here are some of her best goals, the first one is a real cracker: |

Observations.
1) The better sides utilise space and play it really well. They're properly good in that dept.
2) The Argentine keeper. Class act.
3) Some great strikes from outside the box (Japan, Italy) would have beaten most male GKs no problem.
4) If you want to find something really questionable it's been the officiating, on and off the park.

i find it hard to get into womens football as i just don't have much interest in it or any emotional investment like QPR. its like rugby for me in that i'll watch it if i'm bored and its a big game but otherwise i'd rather watch spongebob squarepants.

Japan.
Superb back four, superb movement, denied by yet another awful VAR endorsed decision. Only the woodwork and some excellent saves kept em out.
They were more sorted and looked better coached than we've been on many occasion, which isn't saying much, but I thought they were absolutely fantastic.

I think you will beat Norway this evening. I enjoyed Norway's success the other night but I think a few people were getting carried away. There are question marks at the back. Same for England. The manager wants them to play out from the back but we have real liabilities in that department. No names mentioned. I don't think either are good enough to win this competition, but as the officiating is an absolute shambles being lucky may be more important. |

Our keeper is very good, but like you imply, our defence is not good enough. They are just not good enough with their ball at their feet. I really think we have to rely on our attack which is quite good. Ada Hegerberg is sorely missed, for some odd reason, she has turned down the chance to play for Norway. They say she is the best female player in the world.. I haven`t seen England in this tournament, but I have noticed that your team have gone through an amazing devolopment over the few last years. |
