Les off to watch shankland again At the weekend by all accounts. Would love to get this lad a goal scorer is a goal scorer and that boy loves a goal. Watched some of his highlights and looks comfortable on both feet and in the air. We’ve seen him a few times so must be semi serious

We are alledgedly after Rakeem Harper from West Bromwich. Young midfielder. A very talented player. Wigan want to sign Wells.

Wigan want to sign Wells. harper would be a real strange signing! can't see wells going to wigan as he's already settled here. would love to sign wells on a perm in the summer but reckon he'll end up somewhere like derby, we won't pay the wages that other clubs will offer wells at the end of the season

I ask because I don`t know much about him to be fair......

Didn't Warburton state last week that there would be no more transfer business?

Being reported in Bristol news that wells is about to be recalled with Wigan and Bristol about to make offers for him.
Burnley also have a 12 month detention option on him.

I didn't realise they had money to spend. I was expecting the Brighton striker to be recalled seeing as he has only played about 4 minutes for us.

This whole Nakhi Wells thing is an odd one. Didn't Les say a few months ago that none of our loan players could be recalled in January?
Huge oversight on our part if the contract does allow him to be recalled. With 6 months left on his deal, of course Burnley will be after a fee for him this window if possible.
Surely we should be in talks with Burnley too? I'm sure Wells would sooner stay with us than signing for Bristol City!

Should we lay into our board for allowing a recall on incomings but also lambast them for not having one when we loan players out? Bristol would be a risk (although they are only six points above us and my opinion that will reduce or disappear) but if Wigan can be a contender then we should be able to compete.

Nahki has had a few seasons gathering splinters and has reached the autumn of his career. He has blossomed here at W12, loves playing with his team mates and fitted into the system readily. He seems to be enjoying his time here and has said on a number of occasions that he would love to play for us. If all that is true then I could see him getting agent pulling up trees to get him signed up at QPR.

Nacki going to Bristol City ffs Swap deal so pissed off with this It's only an approach so far as I can see??? "BRISTOL CITY WANT WELLS Bristol City have approached Burnley over a permanent deal to sign Nahki Wells. The striker is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers but the deal contains a recall option this month. The Clarets are yet to decide whether to trigger that option and discuss a permanent sale to Ashton Gate. Manager Sean Dyche suggested earlier this month that they would not recall Wells – but that was in response to whether he could be brought back to fill in for the injured Ashley Barnes. “I don’t think we’ll interrupt him at this moment in time. It seems to be going well, and do you need to affect that?” Dyche said. “There is a break clause. We try to be as honourable as we can, and honour the contract if we say it’s for a season. But there’s always a break clause, to suit both teams, and the player.” Wells has scored 13 goals in 26 Championship appearances so far this season for Rangers, who are said to be aware of the Bristol City interest. The 30-year-old’s Burnley contract expires in the summer but it does include an option to extend for a further year."

As it is less than two weeks before we play them they might just be trying to unsettle him, and QPR with this move.
