Masterson needs be a first teamer. Play someone who's a CB at CB. Not a midfielder. They coasted second half, sure, but we were less shaky at the back. First half? 😱 He's looked pretty good in his first 2 games, hasn't he? One of very few positives today.

Play him. Alan MacDonald didn't go out on loan, did he? Play young players.

Looked like a side who had got carried away with the hype of two big wins and only had to step out on the pitch. Very unprofessional There left back was superb for the record he was mentioned before the kick-off and was Skys mom

He pissed all over us at home too. Exceptionally good player. We had to do very well to work our one goal past him.

You pick a young defender, you know the fans will be on his back if he makes a few mistakes. I'm sure that's on the Manager's mind when he decides whether on not to play a youngster.

As 77 said, Macca wasn't shipped out and we should play him. Hall was shite today - maybe carrying a knock as he was a doubt - so the lad was worth a start.

On Sky the commentator said Warburton judged a performance on how many chances his team creates. That says it all really as we could concede three bad goals and create 15 would that then equate to a good performance?

Hounslow Borough are in a strong vein of form tbf As were we until he needlessly tinkered and bollocksed things up........again.

Playing out from the back is totally killing us fuck sake Gen it’s fuck all to do with playing out from the back. What one of those three fucking goals is from playing out. If we’re going use playing out as an excuse there are plenty more hidings coming up It’s fucking shit defending I'm no fan of playing out (with our players) as you will probably have read General but I have to agree with Westy about today - If Manning puts the ball out instead of rolling on the floor looking for a free kick that isn't they don't score. If we could defend crosses properly they don't score. If Lumley could kick a ball they don't score. We have a keeper who puts enormous pressure on the defenders because he doesn't claim the ball in the air in his 6yd box. Hall and Cameron were poor today, Amos struggled as a result. So much for carrying the confidence forward from Cardiff.

Cameron for the woeful Ball was better and Masterson for the even more woeful Cameron better. If you're good enough, you're old enough. Play him next week. End off. And Lee fucking I played in a 6-1 and a 5-1 win Wallace. We did look a lot better 2nd half with Cameron moving to CDM (he's no CB anymore) and Masterson coming on who looks the real deal to me. But it was too little too late - he'd already caused the damage with the wrong starting lineup/formation based on the opposition, and worse still for messing with a winning side by inexplicably and fatally dropping Wallace for Manning.

People don't want to hear the downside to Warburton. Odd isn't it. And that's not to say he doesn't have his upsides.

Especially when Barbet and BFG are back. After two games, Masterson looks better than either of these IMO. Hasn't put a foot wrong in either game and looks assured and accomplished beyond his tender years.

Thank God there hasn't been any over reaction to losing a game and are still the world's leading goal scorers this decade AND have won two out of three games this year. Joe is just over reacting to a bit of harmless banter. He should know this after fans were given a minute to think about mental health recently.

If you look at it that way as in 2 wins in 3 games how about we look at it this way 1 league win 6 games. Cannot excuse the level of performance or defend the selection from the manager. As for Lumley and the kick out it is a case of seen him do it before and learnt nothing.

i think the commentators said that the strong wind caused lumley's clearance to be so poor. even so though he should have known better plus he didn't have a good game.
i do feel real sorry for him though, we're all frustrated with him but he's no doubt more frustrated than any of us

It’s all excuses Cobs There keeper managed to clear his lines both halves. Even the wind is against Lumley 🙄 Esox currently penning strong email to Met office

I’m not Einstein, but even I would know that if the wind was blowing towards me, it might make sense to put a bit more oomph into your kick.
Poor excuse, for a poor excuse of a keeper. ☹️
