Bit like a great boxer with a paper chin Stan isn't it
How can the owners not see that our keepers are shit and defence needs sorting it's beyond belief
If we had a great keeper and good defence we could have been in Theo, scoffs this year

I can remember plenty of shit games in the 20 we've lost this season.
I don't think we've been as great as some make out, in fact I'd say we've been either as good or as poor as the last 3 seasons.

The games this season have generally been more entertaining to watch due an over emphasis on attacking intent but defensively it’s the worst in my memory. The results and general performance levels have also mirrored the previous 3 seasons despite having better players in my opinion. i agree we have not been as great as some make out.

A 1-1 at Luton doesn't change my mind.
It doesn't matter what happens going forward if you remain horribly vulnerable at the back.
And we're still not wanting it from minute one. Take these things together and you nowhere. That's Warburton.
But given the way the club is run I'd give him another two years....

By reasonable I mean if we sold BOS and Eze for £20m would he be trusted with £10m if owners thought they could afford that much?

I wouldn't bank on any incoming funds being made available, but if they were I'd use that as the bait for getting someone else in rather than risk it, because I think unless you have a world class back line and holding mf you will struggle with him running the show. He sets up like we have actually got that kind of strength back there. Never understood that.

20 losses in a season with defending as we have says to me he will struggle to take us forward. Until you get the back right the front is irelevant as we will not outscore every team we play.

Just needs a defensive coach = End of Problem (Clint Hill) Les sort it out ffs not brain surgery is it / Worst defensive display this season ive ever seen in 40 yrs I've had it confirmed to me by the club that there isn't a dedicated defensive coach . They said that responsibility is shared between all the coaches.
That's us fucked then.
Unless they all get the boot for their collective failure, which is what should happen.

It's not hard it's repetition defence v attack in training , you iron out all possible scenarios and keep doing them

Last season Brentford fans were calling for Franks head saying they could not defend. Look at them now!!!

Big time I thought when they signed him they had fucked up but he’s been super. Pinnock astute signing too

I have next to no belief in Warburton, but I will still reluctantly give him 15 matches next season.

As many have already said, teams like Brentford have managed to find players on the cheap. I guess that vindicates their owner’s strategy and why he let Warburton go.
I know things are slightly different these days, but the best players we have had weren’t big money buys. They got there with talent ad good management. It can still be done that way. Sick and tired of money and wage budgets being used as the reason, year after year.

Brentford never happened over night
Change the manager as manny times as you like but as it stands he will still have Oteh up front and manning at LB

Westy. Brentford have had a plan for a number of years and up till bow it is paying dividends. What plan has this set of owners had for Rangers? What is the plan for us now we have got rid of the high earners? They scout and recruit well and sell for top dollar something we fail to do and until that changes we will float aimlessly along.

Fine as long as he gets in a defensive coach to coach things like marking at corners or leaving a man on a post. All heavy duty technical stuff.

It was satisfying to see him get one over Rowett today, tactically. However his defensive record is absolutely shocking. So jury very much still out.

20 losses in a season is not progress for me. How's it compare to Ollie and Schteve seasons? While 20 not great you need factor in warbs working with a far more inexperienced squad than those two had

If we win at WBA next week it would give us a points total of 60 ,which equals our best total in recent years without getting promoted.
MW can point to progress if upper management decided to doubt his performance this year.

MW says in his latest video on offy he wants to bring in one or two older/experienced players.
I know we are desperately short of a leader but I hope we are looking at players in their late Twenties not old fogies like Cameron.
All the teams that were challenging for promotion had one or Two players just over thirty on average.and generally had twenty five year old filling the rest of team.

Ollie.nice bloke, nut job,not a top four divisions manager. Hughes. Arrogant cant, will do ok with stupid money, better pundit than boss. Harry. Chirpy media darling. Great for attention on club. Does he actually do anything except leave to his backroom boys. Old school dated manager. Colin. Marmite. Old school ,maybe finally past his best. But can be a fun ride manager. Steeeve. Top coach, should stay as a no2,not a manager. Warbs. Stubbornly, talks a wonderful talk, not a long shelf life like milk due to not looking at the obviously lacking parts of his plan
