Again today for the first goal where the fuck was he going?
As the break started to happen and I saw Hughil steaming towards the box I thought well Jimmy has looked around and seen him. Good.
Ozzy gets beat on the wing the ball comes in and Dunne is in absolute no man’s land as the ball trickles behind him straight into the path of yes guess who, Hughil who you saw 30 fucking yards back.
Why the fuck did he not follow the players run & stick to him and not wait for the ball to be struck as once that happens Jimmy it’s too late mate.

Same summary as Dickie. Another one overrated because he beats his chest. Very odd CB as I think he thinks he’s a ball playing CB in his head but for me he’s an in your face player. I would say play to your strengths.
Championship player no more. Can see why he rarely got game time at Burnley.
We love a chest beater in the bush if he never played up to the crowd they would be all over him.

Love Jimmy! So pleased we got him. I love Jimmy too but he has been shit lately. In his defence I would say that Dickie’s appalling form has had an effect on him - trying too hard to do more as cover - and the pair of them are under so much pressure as there is fuck all defending going on in front of them most of the time. Who picks up runners for a start? Field ok when the ball is in front of him but run past him and he’s nowhere. Beale dropped Dickie. He got that right at least. I still think fitness level is Dickie’s problem. Never quick but none of us wanted to lose him Jan 22.. |

It’s not difficult for most to see our defence would be even worse without Dunne, can you imagine Glass-Salter and Dickie being paired😱🤣🙄

Dunne and Dickie have always looked a million miles better in a three. Many of us on here have been crying out for it. You are shipping goals and slipping down the table, its not rocket science and I couldn't understand why Critchley persisted with a two. Hope we keep this system for a while now - even if it means grinding out some ugly draws lets just keep it tight at the back, sort that first then you always have a platform to build on.

Think yesterday proved beyond doubt that both Dickie and Dunne perform better in a back 3. Field was excellent yesterday which helped them both. We looked so much more solid. Hopefully we stick with that from now on. Dunne's passion is what I've always liked about him though, can't deny he puts in 100% every game, even when he doesn't play well.

Field didn’t look out of place and it was good to see both him and Dickie breaking out carrying the ball forwards on occasions, but I can’t get away from thinking that Watford were shite overall.
