I thought he should be dropped. I thought he’d made too many mistakes. So did most, as a CB.

Immense again today. Love the new tactic of aiming goal kicks towards him to nod onto the striker, nearly worked every time today.

Made championship team of the week playing at right back. Honestly I’m not a fanboy 😂

My first choice right back for next season Can see us playing 3 with him right side. Paal/Larkeche on left, Cannon/a.n.other on right ( not Drewe, please) with a Marti pre-season could be exciting.

is it really that great news though? seems more of an obvious call tbh as we had the option to extend his contract by a year much in the way we did with willock last year.
we should be tying him down to a new deal tbh but i imagine we have been trying to do that - he just won't sign a new extended contract.

Yes, thought that Corbs - why only a one year extension? Dunne says he loves the club (and I believe him for what it's worth), so don't think it was an unwillingness on his part to sign. Anyway, he's here for another season at least, so happy with that.

Seems to have found a niche at RB.

I still think we’ll have a back three next season.

Because 3-4-3 is Marti`s preferred formation.

I still think we’ll have a back three next season. based on what? based on fact we have a continental coach, two (maybe three) full backs who are better going forward and Jimmy Dunne playing really well on the right. Also gets more players forward and if we get more service to Donkey, Frey and even Sinclair they might get a few goals. Problem will be if we sell JCS.

But he’s shown absolutely no sign of three at the back since being here and not many sides play 3 at the back anymore.

He’s not going to experiment when we’re in the shit is he? Tried and tested. Once he has a pre-season we’ll see.

He’s not going to experiment when we’re in the shit is he? Tried and tested. Once he has a pre-season we’ll see. hmm not convinced if honest. What hes done has worked and it has us towards top of the form table without any strikers. Why would he wake up and say oh yes three at the back when there is absolutely no need for it also can’t see how that formation makes us better then what he’s already producing actually robs us of a midfielder. Would be handy plan B if required but not sure the A game as we’ve witnessed needs tinkering. If it’s not broke don’t fix it springs to mind.
