Another one I'm pleased with. Looks as if he'll be one for the future, but we seem to be making shrewd signings that are adding to what we have. Another striker and right back, and I think it will have been a very good summer. Not sure SJ will get done, but if he does come I fancy us for top 6 next year.

All looking good with depth in most positions. not sure about the need for a striker, we have - Austin, Dykes, Kelman, Lloyd, Armstrong and we can always play Willock and Adomah up top if push comes to shove.

solid signing imo. burnley seem to pump out good CBs on a regular basis and did want to keep him there so he must have some potential.
our squad is coming together beautifully imo, if we can bring in johansen and a loan striker i think we'll be in a great position next season.
i guess though that this means masterson must be going out on loan again? we have 4 CBs plus dom ball and even wallace who can fill in at CB now.

Or they’ve had a top offer for Dickie?

Or they’ve had a top offer for Dickie? tbh i can't see us selling any of our best players this season unless we got a ridiculous offer for them. if we bring in stefan we will arguebly have our most solid all round squad in years and one very capable of pushing for the playoffs imo. according to our recent financial accounts we're not strapped for cash, nor have any of our players outgrown us like eze so we aren't forced to sell anyone. if someone was stupid enough to bid 12-15m for dickie then obviously we'd be foolish not to take it but we wouldn't sell him for 5m imo. the likes of dykes, dozzel and field for example are still work in progress and need to be playing with good players so they too can step up. but yeah, i'd be surprised if we did sell dieng, dickie or chair this season.

This looks like a solid signing, and a few more will be signed according to WLS, I just hope we`re not setting our sights too high this season. Let`s build something for future this time.

I hope you are right and it would be some signal from the club if no one leaves. Not counting on it just yet as a big departure is usually last minute.

Three at back needs minimum 4CB probably five to play safe. No Cameron to cover this year leaves barbet, Dickie, Dutch man, Dunne and Masterson

Barbet and the vice-man are left-footed. Dunne and Dickie are right-footed so this is more as competition for Dickie perhaps. Also we'll likely be playing three CBs for much of the time, so 4 in the squad would be essential, with Masterson to possibly be loaned again.

Saw on Facebook and had to share because I thought it was quality, hope it catches on.
Jimmy Dunne is magic, he wears a magic hat, and if you throw a brick at him he'll head the fucker back.

he's gotten better and better with every game. i don't think many of us expected him to become the best defender we have as it looked like he was signed purely as cover.
he started off well although had lapses in concentration at times but he's improved tremendously which is a testement to his character imo. always a solid 7.5/10 every game if not higher at times.

One of those players that doesn't have a chant, but should.
Not that we sing many player chants these days.

QPR defender Dunne backed for Ireland call-up

QPR boss Mark Warburton believes centre-back Jimmy Dunne deserves a first call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad.
The Dundalk-born 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Manchester United before switching to Burnley in 2016, joined Rangers last summer following a series of lower-league loan spells and a stint in Scotland with Hearts.
After starting this season behind Jordy de Wijs in the centre-back pecking order, Dunne has taken full advantage of the injury-prone Dutchman’s absence to become a mainstay of the Rangers defence. ADVERTISING
His 30 appearances so far this season are the most of his career and with Republic boss Stephen Kenny set to name his squad for next month’s friendlies against Belgium and Lithuania in the next few weeks, Warburton believes Dunne should to be in consideration for selection.
“I am sure the (Irish) international guys are well aware of Jimmy,” Warburton said.
“I am not so sure they are aware of his dress sense – because that would mean he would never get a cap!
“But in terms of his ability, on the pitch he has done really well. He’s a very likeable character, he goes about his business and he is physically strong.
“We have done a lot of work with him in terms of his decision-making on the ball and I think you’re seeing his development due to his hard work in that area.
“He has genuinely done very well, shown his quality, the fans like him and he gives everything in terms of effort and application.
“There’s no reason why he shouldn’t get an international call-up.”
Despite Ireland being very much in a transitional phase under Kenny, they are well stocked in the centre-back position, with Sheffield United’s John Egan, Brighton’s Shane Duffy and skipper Seamus Coleman the current first-choice trio.
Premier League youngsters Andrew Omobamidele and Nathan Collins of Norwich and Burnley respectively were named in Kenny’s last squad despite limited appearances for their clubs this season.
And Warburton believes by playing consistently in a promotion-contending side and at a high level, Dunne is doing everything he can to break into the Irish squad.
“I know Ireland are very strong in that area, which could be the one negative for him,” he said.
“But all he can do is work hard and play hard every single week and he is doing that.”
