Levy is tighter than a 5 yr olds bum. Be lucky to get a good deal of him.

i don't think even we're stupid enough to let eze go on the cheap. he's the best player in the championship with a host of clubs after him and still has 2 and a half years on his contract so the ball is firmly in our court.
could defo see a swap deal with amos coming here and i'd be happy with that, amos is a good player already at this level and will only get better

Eze going and staying on loan, plus getting Amos and £15m would be a great bit of business. I can't see Eze playing for Spurs this season. Yeha Eriksson is on his way out but they have others already and I am sure Mourinho would want someone already proven.

He's a fine player - one of the best we've had in years - and he'll command a great fee, but we'll end up disappointed and questioning the club's ambition if we fail to understand that 'best this' or 'best that' is purely subjective... He won't be going for peanuts, obviously, but a fee of around £15m would be great for a player who is at QPR because he flopped at Millwall and who has only played in the Championship and quite inconsistently for the first year. He consistently high scores on Whoscored.com, he is their highest rated player alongside Jared Bowen. He didn't flop at Millwall, he was told by Neil Harris that he would never fit into Millwall's style of play; a big difference. Inconsisten in his first year? of course he was and it didn't help that he was being played every game even when it became obvious he needed a rest. I am hoping that he will decide to stay and learn his trade for another year with us as I believe that there will be a step improvement in the side next season, and one the season afterwards too.

he will learn and develop more as a player in our first team than he will playing for Spurs' U23 side and the occasional Carabo Cup game for the next few years. This, with Christmas farking bells and baubles on. Bottom line: Is it just about the big money move, or is it about fulfilling your talents to the max over an entire career.

You don't think he'd get a run out at Spurs mate? I'd have agreed with you in the summer. From what I've seen this season I think he's more than good enough for their bench. If Eriksen is departing (and I think he will in Jan), I could actually see this happening. I could see Eze doing well there too.

If Eriksen is departing (and I think he will in Jan), I could actually see this happening. I could see Eze doing well there too. Let's be honest... He's exciting to watch and our best player for a few years but he's not amazing or anything close to it. What he has is potential but there is no way they consider him good enough to be around the first team at the moment, he's not consistent enough in the division below yet. He might get a few visits to the bench but they would see him as a long term investment. He would be out on loan for a couple, maybe 3 years, first back to us and then to a crappy Premier League team with no hope before he gets a run in the first team. Time will tell mate. For me, from what I've seen this season I honestly believe he's Premier League quality. And I was very critical of him pre-season and last season. I wasn't sure he had the attitude to succeed at top level. He's come on leaps and bounds under Warburton. Transformed from a luxury player to a genuine central midfielder who does his share of tracking back too. Best player we've had here since Taarabt in my opinion. And he's got a far better head on his shoulders than Adel had!

Let me give that above comment a bit of context. Last season people were saying the same about Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham. Great players at Championship level, but can they cut it in the Prem?
Well the answer turned out to be yes. Chelsea going great guns and Abraham and Mount have been integral. Now are you telling me that Eze this season has been less impressive than those 2 were at Derby and Villa last year? If anything he's been better in my opinion!

Mourinho plucking a youngster out of the championship and giving him regular playing time, even from the bench, during his first year there? I just don't see it. Different story if Poch was still there. Jose will be wanting and demanding more established players in the short term.

I'm sure Mourinho has gone to Spurs knowing he ain't got money to throw around though. Of course he's had bucks to spend at Chelsea, Inter, Man Utd and Madrid. Different remit at Spurs though, surely?

Has consistency been an issue for Eze this season mate?
Last season for sure, and I said as much on here and WATRB's. But this season he's been good most weeks and our best player in most of the games I've watched.

But this season he's been good most weeks and our best player in most of the games I've watched. He's better than last season, by far, but for every performance against Luton or Hull we have one where he goes completely missing or, as the case may be, can't stamp his authority on a game. The big clubs will want to see him be the best player in the match - not just in the team - almost every week at this level if he is to get an immediate chance in the Premier league. Dele Alli went missing for a whole year under Potch, he looks like a new man under Mourinho! Opinions at the end of the day, ain't it? My opinion of Eze has gone full circle in the last 6 months. I thought he'd probably be another young talent that never quite made it. These days I'm convinced he's destined to make it at the top level. Time will tell though, won't it?!

IF Eze goes, I'd go for money plus defenders in exchange before anything to do with Amos, who is a player in an area we are not struggling with.

I rate Amos Mush. Needs a bit of time and development, but I think he'll be a good player.

don't think there's much need to find someone "better" than amos tbh and could prove to be difficult anyway. personally i rate amos quite highly and think he'll go on to be a solid player at this level. he hasn't ever had much regular first team football but is still only 22 and has put in some solid shifts for us already this season. yes he's made mistakes but he'll get better, he's a player that suits our system quite well

Amos is right age, has the ability and type of player you could make money on in future
I would go as far as to say captain in the making
