Can ask as many awkward questions, but it’s their club to do with how they please. And they know it Without the fans there is no club. And they know it. So I suppose it's more of a balancing act. They are more like temporary custodians of the club. The fans are the only constant and therefore its lifeblood; whilst owners come and go. Plenty owners don’t care if fans come go, look at soon to be gone Southend.

Hoos thought it good PR to appear to engage with fans but is now realising the natives might be a bit more astute than he gave them credit for. Was so obvious at last fans meeting. its because we have heard the same answers every single year. it gets to a point where questions do start being asked but hoos always seems to spin it back on us with his "what suggestions do you have? i'm all ears " shtick. its like mate, come off of it lol, you're the one running a football club and staff with hundreds of years worth of combined experience in football business and admin. why don't you come up with the ideas and improve the club, y'know, the job you're literally paid to do. plus people do make suggestions too but most of them are shot down, why not try some of the ideas? many fans have voiced concerns that there's no QPR posters up in shepherds bush and its so true. you go to any other area with a football club and there's posters and the like telling everyone that this area belongs to 'x' club. there's a certain level of perceived prestige in that. i drive by stamford bridge most days and the surrounding area is dominated by chelsea posters. everyone knows that they're in chelsea's backyard there. its beneficial to the clubs reputation to have posters in westfield and along the green telling everyone this is the home of QPR. shepherds bush is already incredibly busy with tourists and immigrants but how many of those actually know that we exist i wonder? one of the main things that worries me about the future of our club is the general age of supporters attending. most are middle aged or older. just as a side note i wonder how many people on this forum are 1st gen supporters that chose to support this club many years ago due to friends at school and living in the local area? its an interesting question imo. the point is we don't do no where near enough to bring local communities into the club. we all know that shepherds bush has loads of immigrants living there so why doesn't the club do more to bring the football unaffiliated kids of those immigrants into the club? stuff like targetting schools and offering heavily discounted tickets to kids/parents from those schools to entice them into the ground for a day out. even if only 1 in 10 of those kids end up supporting QPR thats still a massive intake of new and future fans imo. if anyone has lee hoos' email i'd love to broach the suggestion to him and see how it goes.PM me if anyone wants it.

Couple of really simple ideas that I think would take very minimal effort & funding to get people in the ground and spend money.
Blue & White bar - Open it to all, as in accessible from all stands. Paint it in some nice decor, decent lighting as It's like a fucking Dr's in there bright lights and not very warm. Get big screens all round to show the early Sky / BT match and also the game at 17.30 - Some nice chairs, sofas and serve light snacks, sausage & chips, pies etc. I guarantee it would be busy. People just want a comfortable place to chat and watch a game.
Toilets - Stanley Bowles stand for example which is a nightmare. The mens are at either end of the stands. Fucking nightmare and takes 20 mins to take a lash. There is a womans toilet right in the middle of the stand, turn that into a mens and use one of the far ends as a half / half men & women toilet. There is sureley a 9 to 1 men to women ratio in the ground so obviously need more bogs.
Food - Have mobile vendors with the beer back packs and nozzle pouring pints as they walk around. You literally stop them, pour, pay on card and move on. No one can be arsed queuing for 20 mins. You would sell shit more pints. Have a burger van inside the gates of Ellerslie. Loads of space as you walk in.
Just a quick brainstorm.

About 30 minutes in.
No real update on LC site, other than it's moving slowly. No shit. What have you done about it, what was the last communication on it after the embarrassing public spat?
Banging on about pies. They aren't going to give away money. Cheaper prices up until 2pm or something makes sense, it's what a lot of clubs do.
Also, why does it take so long to get a question out?! It's like they ask it, and then carry on trying to guess what Lee's answer would be and before you know it, the question isn't the question anymore.

Loads of space as you walk in. Just a quick brainstorm. I have said this before as well. The beer packs are a great way to stop queues forming and allows more people to get to the kiosks and get food (though, not sure why you would want that food?!). Must be able to convert the space under the stairs into something. Put the bookies under there, then the bookies bit can be for more food/drink.

yeah I mean I see all questions about facilities etc as being basically irrelevant at this point and an easy out for Hoos.
I want to know about the current regimes exit strategy: ie ballpark figure for the value of holdings, would they be open to bids, have they been approached. Obviously he's not going divulge, but these are pressure questions.
I also want to know more about the executive decision making process at the club, and why that process has left us so far adrift of our neighbours.

Lee Hoos interview was awful
Update on stadium - Nothing going on Players contracts running down - Nothing really going on Chicken Pies - New Ones In People Not happy
This is what should have been asked
A/ Are we ever going to get a new stadium as ours is falling down mate B/ Whats happening with FFP C/ Have we got any funds for transfers D/ Why is there no advertising of the club around Westfield and Shepherds Bush E/ Is Les getting his P45 shortly
He sounded so distanced from what is actually going on not even aware or cares that the supporters are pissed off atm

What are the owners long term plans? Why do we let players go who need paying up after we paid big money and wages for them? Why doesn't the DoF ever get seen at other clubs watching players? So many fucking questions this lot never asked.

Questions much better but answers were very pesimistic and I feel but for a miracle mid table or survival in the Championship is best we have to look forward to. Who are the 13 players that left for total of 750k? Les thinks we shopping at Aldi not Harrods, really more like the local tip. New ground...forget it. Promotion....forget it. Championship survival year on year at best for for the future unless we get lucky through our scouting system 😀. Just think our fanbase will suffer from this somewhat bleak outlook.

From an article on BBC... ""Valencia will continue to sink as long as Lim stays, because he has abandoned the club to people who don't know about football. The only future is a change in ownership, and to pray the next one is better."
Although it is impossible to accurately judge his intentions, so far Lim has shown no inclination of selling up. But unless something changes, Valencia's dramatic decline looks set to continue."
Sound familiar!?

From meeting last October……”Then came his usual bullshit about a new stadium and it was so obvious he was sidestepping Stan’s RFI submitted question that I called him out specifically about waiting for Prem status again and what exactly are the problems with Hammersmith? He just waffled on about still being interested in LC but we don’t want to rush it (WHAT😂?) and consultation blah, blah with council. Same answer as last year - full of shit. Same old, same old about it not cost effective to invest in LR. Waffle, waffle…..started getting boring.” I’m sure he has a difficult time with limited finances but he’s not exactly innovative is he?😁

Warburton wanted out mate. That’s why he played up, didn’t give a shit after January. I really don’t think anyone can accuse Warburton as having a character of not giving a shit he was consummate professional. He fell out with Les and things went wrong it happens. He should still be manager and we would be in better shape. In hindsight he should have stayed and Les gone.
