Wouldn't be too optimistic. If he's been on the pitch 17 times, even 5 mins per game, and you haven't seen anything from him yet, why bother? Good player would have made some difference already.

I agree with the, let’s say ‘cautious’, comments about Kelman and Armstrong but I find it amazing the patience shown towards Dykes. Not that I want them to, but if Armstrong and Kelman get three years to show what they can do they might show they can get the odd goal in ten chances too. Somehow we praise Dykes for putting himself about when he doesn’t, he wins headers he gets nowhere near and he mixes it with CBs without ever getting within a couple of yards of them yet Kelman gets slagged for not impressing in 5 minutes.

He done ok today I was unexpectedly surprised. Was involved and had little bit of a nuisance factor about him. Thought he was unlucky to get pulled ahead of Dykes so possibly fitness based.

Kellman has had 2 seasons further down the league and failed to nail down a regular first team place with both teams. It’s pure desperation to think just because we’ve not seen him in 2 seasons he’s better than Armstrong or Kolli. All this optimism is only down to Ferdinand saying he’s the best finisher at the club. Hes unlikely to say he’s shite because he authorised his initial transfer. What attributes does Kellman display, has he got pace or strength , is he good in the air, can he dribble past players, please point out what I’m missing? |

Sparks , he played ok today. Hit a powerful shot on target and involved in a few other good passages. Not saying he's the answer obviously!!!! However he has never actually had a run in the side, unlike Armstrong and Dykes. And therefore deserves one just so we can see what he can do. Why have Dykes and Armstrong had chances but not Kelman.

And further to my above post Sparks, it wasn't just Ferdinand who said he’s the best finisher at the club but the three previous managers too. So I think it's perfectly reasonable to give him a run and see.

Let’s just agree to disagree, I thought he was meh today and I’ve seen nothing in odd sub appearances for first team and U21 here or at Orient or Gillingham. Dont you think there’s a good reason his contract finishes end of this season? Similar to when Ainsworth was suggested I didn’t think his record deserves a chance here. ive seen enough to be up-beat about both Armstrong and Kolli in U21 games to be given patience. |

I think he's useless. As Sparks said, he's had plenty of time to prove himself, and he hasn't. To say he's better than Armstrong is to damn him with faint praise. What is horrific is that is exactly how poor our strike force is: Armstrong, Kelman and Dykes. That's league 2 standard at best.

It`s a problem when it looks like none of our strikers or creative players seem to be on the same wavelength. We have been Queens Park Strangers for a very long time now. Hope that ends today.

I have to chuckle to myself that so much crap is written about players on here, much of it is purely based on past reputation, blind hope and disappointment.
I often wonder what some fans would say about a young Stan Bowles coming here in similar circumstances if Dopey Ainsworth was still manager.
