Poor first half did for us. You have to play a striker at home, however shit he is. Dozzell is woeful. Him and Field are a dreadful pairing.

Think Stoke look quite good - it is us who look crap Yes. That's why it's shit to watch. He knows how to set up against our creative players. Don't think they've been too good going forwards though. I think Neil out-smarted Beale today. More canny and experienced and it showed. He's the first manager to have successfully nullified the Willock threat. Beale will (and must) learn from this. It felt like a loss which is good as the fact we weren't beaten and kept a clean sheet shows the progress we're making. Dykes is a better player coming off the bench, another positive. Balogun definitely an upgrade on Dickie too IMO. Classy, calm, experienced, good reader - really like him. There were a lot of negatives today but I'd rather focus on the above positives and move on from there. |
