We improved when Dykes came on. Largely because Dozzell came off, Roberts moved back and right, and we had a striker. However poor. |

Take that. Stoke have been flying lately, a point is a good result. And a clean sheet. 8 points from last 6 games. Wouldn't call that flying. But we're top six. It's incredible to think of the panic on here pre Watford game.... this is still a bargain basement team with a rookie manager but for me we've progressed massively as a club from last year. |

Being in this position six weeks in with a rookie manager and bargain basement squad is pretty decent. Remember the panic on here before the Watford game? Remember fans deploring Warbs departure?
Listen, we'll probably end up mid table but I reckon the club feels more coherent and more up to speed than it has for a long time.

On shots / chances alone we should have at least had one but neither team was much cop.
Stoke are a shitty awkward side to play against.
4 points from 6 is decent. Really need to sort out home form going forward.

I’m with you on most points Hal but don’t agree mid table would be acceptable for me. MB needs to use this 2 week break to toughen up and find our best defensive/MF and attacking options without feeling obliged to play anybody due to rep or because they are on loan. I don’t want to hear him keep saying he’s only been here for 3 months then predicting we will get get 60 points with 8 games left to play, talk is cheap. |
