Will be on my way to work at that time so will miss it live. I'm sure there'll be a summary on here though. Hint hint I'm sure there'll be a few tuning in Ginge. It'll no doubt be up on the offish shortly afterwards for those who missed it.

Just watched it. I'm keeping my expectations very low for next season. But that presser has made me feel just a little bit encouraged. I'd still expect the likes of Freeman/Luongo/Eze to be sold.

Pretty much what you'd expect: diplomatic about previous managers, positive about season ahead, honesty is the best policy, with board and fans.... Said he will be active in the transfer market, he's looking for a blend of youth and experience. Wants to make sure coming to train is an enjoyable experience for the players so they look forward to coming to work. Says every player at the club, from youth team upwards is part of the whole and he will be talking to Chris Ramsay in depth about who's ready to step up. Loan market will be important. Kinda thing.

The bit that stands out from his early interviews, for me:
When the Rangers squad return for the start of pre-season, the new Manager says that they can expect organisation.
“The players will get their schedules and will know what they are doing every day four weeks in advance,” he said. “They’ll know what every session is, how we are going to work and it is all geared to our pattern of play and philosophy.
“Every session, the players should be able to look at it and see why we have done it. If not, they can knock on my door. It’s important that the players come and ask if they don’t understand something.
“We’ll do analysis every day in short 10, 12, 15-minute bursts and that will be done for their benefit. We’ll work them in the classroom as well as on the grass and I want my players to leave the training ground every day feeling better for it.
“They’re at the training ground to work, so we have to get that environment right at Harlington.”

Very hopeful for the medium term having heard that.
Seems honest, erudite and ready for the task.

I honestly don't think Luongo and Eze could do much better than us at the moment. Eze possibly in a year or two. Both so inconsistent for better clubs.

But if someone comes in with a decent offer for either we'll more than likely take it.

This bodes well for the future. Organisation and system are what this club have been missing.

We just need some quality players now chaps Problem is we won't get proper quality players on our budget. That's why my expectations are very low.

Having listened to him I would say the young players will do well under him as he seems to want to keep it simple for them.
