No judgement! Yes, all 350,000,000 of them! Blimey, I didn’t know there were that many of them. Given most of them seem to be obese I’m amazed the earth still manages to turn and hasn’t simply dropped through the bottom of the solar system.

Well it might have done, if the Americans hadn't been doing their bit in what could otherwise have been a catastrophic situation. Both India and China have around 1.4 BILLION people - each four times as many as the USA, eight times more in total. But fortunately the people in the USA weigh on average eight times more than Indian or Chinese people. Therefore, with India and China being on diametrically opposite sides of the globe, the Earth's rotation is in absolutely perfect balance.

might be firing blanks for a couple of months if he has been without a club since the end of last season, but lets hope we have a fullback with some explosive pace

4 years. Don't offer those out too often. Insane. No change there then. Why? without knowing the ins and outs of financial fair play.... the money the player makes over 4 years may be better than a 2 year deal elsewhere... I'm led to believe Chelsea are giving 8 year contracts to stay within the rules! While applauding the club on our signing (other clubs were quite keen for his signature and plenty of fans put the mockers on it when he wasn't announced straight away) let's hold judgement until he's played perhaps 10 games, Ethan (bit of tightness) Laird was lauded by a lot of fans on here and elsewhere then worrying he would be recalled during the January window after a few good performances...

If he that good he won’t be here in a year, so 4 yr deal irrelevant 🤓

I'm not going to pretend I know much about him, but if rumours were true about how many clubs had been eyeing him up then he's a good acquisition.

From those clips above it looks like we have found ourselves a better and fitter version of our former player Moses Odubajo.

God will this mean loads of yank fat fuck tourists at hq now🤮 Nah, they couldn't possibly fit in the seats at Loftus Road. Unless Hoos authorises seating modifications and the fat Yanks then straddle two seats, with their arse crack on what would have been the arm rests... They'd have to pay double rate though.

I’d be surprised Good bit of business by the club. * If he's a good as some suggest he won't be here in 2 years but has another 2 years on his contract so that pushes the price up. * If he isn't any good he'll be cheap to pay off or flog cheaply to recoup lost money to wages.

What do we think is our best team now assuming everyone on form/ fit (big "if" obvs):
Bergovic
Dunne Cook JSC
Cannon Paal Field Colebrook
Smyth Chair Dykes
For me its probably this (Smyth would drop out for Willock if the latter really re-discovered his form). Only issue for me is that as I have long argued Chair is our best player (for all his frustrations) and think he is much better in a 10 role than out wide. I think Armstrong could be good as a kind of inside left, but I don't see how you get him in a full strength team. Anyway, more options than a few weeks ago.

He's been excellent, on the whole, alongside Cook and they've formed a good partnership. Better player than Dunne IMO and more experienced.

So Chelsea have to defray about 1 billion quid hence the longer contracts. The risk is that some of their acquisitions become millstones who can't be shifted. For a small club like ours they become a serious risk.
