According to McClaren unlikely to play Saturday but did not think it was too serious.

That is a relief to be honest. He has been excellent lately despite our run of results.

Agree CCJ he has been very good for the majority of this season and become more of a team player. Apparently it is a hip injury so hopefully not out for too long.

Really good. Except for the twenty mins Steve shunted him to the left wing wherein he promptly disappeared. Not his fault, of course. Great player.

Big blow for us that, Freeman is class, by far & away our best player IMO - puts in a real shift every game as well.

Top banana performance. Was everywhere. Effort and skill. It's a mystery to me why he's not so much more appreciated beyond our club. Close control is up there with the best. Effort too. Always puts in a shift. Our best player by a mile. So hope we can keep him..... No10 shirt next year I hope.

I given him some stick start of season but he was unplayable last night
When he works the way he did last night he’s cut above the rest in this division and it seemed to be rubbing off on Eze who put shift in

I remember people slating him over at the other place, saying we should get rid at the end of last season/beginning of this. It's always good to know how many football experts we have in our ranks.

Remember having a stand up row with some fella at an away game last season who claimed he was lazy. Lazy! Freeman always puts in a shift. And some. He's always involved in the game. He never hides. Even when Ollie (and sometimes inexplicably Steve) shunts him out to the left wing.....

That was some performance and up until his recent injury I would imagine he has probably had more minutes for us than anyone (except Bidwell maybe?)

He was lazy start of season in fairness but I think he had had his head turned with talk of moves. He has however since Nov been top notch and pretty consistent

Freeman was absolutely unplayable last night. I have a couple of Leeds supporting mates, and 1 of em text me saying saying 'Ffs that Freeman tore us a new 1 tonight!'.
What I like about him is he is a creative player, but he also puts in a real shift & isn't afraid to get stuck in. Think we need to enjoy him for the rest of this year, as he will certainly be off in the summer, just hope we get a decent price for him.
He was MOM last night by some way, although I also thought Mass was fantastic, and Lumley deserves credit for his fabulous double / triple save which kept us in the game. Only disappointment for me was Eze. I have posted on here already defending him recently, but I have to admit I thought he was poor last night. Bright looked positive again when he came on. Also, what a farking upgrade on Lynch Grant Hall is, so glad he is back playing.
All of a sudden I have a tiny bit of confidence going into the Brentford game......COYRs!!

Thought Eze had decent game Matty. Played forwards instead of backwards for a change

He does try West, but he lost the ball waaayyy more times than he done anything successfully with it. Made a couple of nice touches and turns, but he was very wasteful. And, as I say, I am usually arguing with people around me defending him, but last night I did find myself slightly frustrated by him.

Nice flicks and touches but needs more end product, and to make less unforced errors. Noticed he got bullied off the ball a couple of times. He's clearly highly talented but his body language still appears lackadaisical and lacking confidence. Needs a Steve Black type character to bring the best out of him and restore his confidence. He really seems to lack the drive and self-belief to do his great talent justice IMO.

Freeman has been great this season and I think a club will come in with big dough in the summer and it may mean him moving on. He has proved to be a very good signing and while we would miss him I think as a club we will have to take the miney. The other angle to the gulf in class between the EPL and championship and you only have to look at Cairney at Fulham and how he has struggled with the step up after being a 20 million rated player in the championship for the last 2 seasons.

lose freeman without a good replacement lined up, and we are fooked.
can afford to let eze go though.
would say £17mil for the pair and reinvest £12 mil of that in a decent striker and freemans replacement.

Can you think of any candidates that can play like Freeman in our price range? Irreplaceable imo, Chair will be thrown in under huge pressure. Tbh I'm getting to the point that I'm not sure I'll bother with QPR much longer. The obstacles put in our way unfairly is killing us

Blimey, good as Freeman is, he's only one player! We'll be alright.
