Smith & Freeman gone for chip money and Bobby Ball in. This is what you get courtesy of Uncle's stewardship over the years. This whole circus is down to him. Don't ever forget it. Case in point

But we’re hanmering them Hits when we don’t even know 1) if he’s been sold and 2) if he is for how much Does that not strike you as odd??? Common sense prevails at last.

I think it's high time QPR were registered as a charity - that way they can benefit from tax breaks.

2 mil is what I'm hearing now plus add-ons such as we have to give 1 mil back to Sheff Utd if Freeman doesn't score 20 premier lge goals.

Sheffield United have completed the signing of QPR star Luke Freeman for a deal believed to be in the region of £5m.BY LONDON FOOTBALL NEWS 03/07/2019 "A number of sources, including Sky Sports News, recently suggested that the Blades were about to buy Freeman for around £3m, while West London Sport reported that an offer of around £4m had been turned down, with Rangers demanding more money for the midfielder. No move materialised and it is now understood that United have sealed the deal after tabling an improved offer. Freeman has agreed personal terms and the signing is expected to be announced today." Be interesting to see how this works out.
Blades are EPL money if not quality and an EPL starter at £5m is decent value for them in that market place.
That's the context we're talking. At one point yesterday it seemed like we might be talking an awful lot less hence toys cast out of pram.

Undisclosed fee though, would love to know what the final fee was. SUFC twitter says club record transfer fee. Last summer that was 4.1 million for John Egan. So should at least be more than that

Hard to disagree and good luck to him. Absolutely no reason to believe we won’t be replacing him with quality though. He was struggling to be an automatic choice for Bristol City when he arrived here, don’t forget. And as good as he could be, many a time he has slowed us up by holding on to the ball too long. Not totally his fault though, as he was usually the bloke who we tried to get the ball to. Maybe with different players, the others can share the workload a bit more and offer more of a variety of options.

Was there with my lad at LR for his debut where his skill, desire and persistence were outstanding in comparison with the rest of the team, and he soon became our new favourite He's consistently been our stand out player since then, and carried us through the last 2 seasons - Christ knows what we could have done if we had had better players around him Sadly QPR and Freeman needed him to move on, but I hope my club continue to listen to Penrice Sheff Utd's will be the one Prem result I'll look for this season

LUKE FREEMAN LEAVES QPR AS THE BIGGEST BARGAIN OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW SO FAR – OPINION "At only £5m, Freeman could be regarded as one of the biggest bargains in a incredibly inflated transfer market. Sheffield United will be obtaining a player who has grown into the role of being the leading creator on the team. QPR will miss their main attacking outlet and they will need to adapt; while United may have pulled off the biggest ‘bargain’ of the transfer window so far." footballleagueworld.co.uk/luke-freeman-leaves-qpr-as-the-biggest-bargain-of-the-transfer-window-so-far-opinion/

Anyone know if Freeman issued a farewell statement? Like big Matt Smith did? I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't tbh.
