The only times he couldn't play a forward pass last night was when players ahead weren't making themselves available, which was their fault, not his. Yeah 100%. At one time he went to go forward and then went back and then yelled at whoever was out wide in frustration. |

Only criticism is he does dwell on ball a bit assessing options and feel it will get pinched off him. But liked his performance especially first half faded second as his tank emptied. Yes that’s very true. That pissed my brother off no end but I just think that’s a sign of him adapting to the Championship. He hasn’t actually had a lot of game time. Makes a difference having someone who can head the thing too……are you listening Madsen? |

What he does well is compete for the ball on the ground and in the air even if he dont win it he’s putting pressure on.

He was a bit better last night, wasn't he? At least he seems to be improving and learning the league etc. More than can be said for a couple of our summer signings.

I thought he was really good last night. Lack of movement in front was a problem. Crowd getting on players backs didn't help that as well (Cook ran it out when crowd was boo'ing going backwards so he ran it out and got tackled. If the crowd werent groaning, he doesn't do that, we don't lose the ball).

physically he's well suited to the league. thought he had a good game last night, couple of mistakes here and there and needs to act quicker as he almost got closed down a few times but he's coming on well.

He was a bit better last night, wasn't he? A little bit. Made a couple of good tackles and some positive passing but still doesn't look like any improvement on what we had IMO. Hoping he kicks on as we'll need all the help we can get. |

Agree but crowd reaction is spontaneous, no one ever thinks before groaning (or cheering for that matter) and it’s natural, everyone does it. Try Man U or Spurs 😂 If it’s more specific, even personal, it must have an effect but a chorus of groans is part of the job. |
