Benchmeat here on surely. Different class with Chair. Pugh for Bright when fit too. Great second half. Good effort and spirit. Nice shape throughout. Very pleased. They looked shite though.

He was dire today mate. Literally threw away the first half with him in the number 10 role. Don't expect to see him start again any time soon!
Need to get Eze in that role I think. Looked a much better side after the subs.

I feel for him as he’s playing out of position but there are better options

Scowen seems a nice bloke and all that karaoke and caper but in the final analysis, i'd rather have my skull nailed to the mast on a deep sea fishing expedition to the flemish cap, where sex starved fisherman knock out my cunting teeth and use my soft gums as a fuck pot and loading bay for their pay load of omega-3 fatty acid harry monk , than have him in the side over the imperious ilias Chair.
Sorry josh but that's how i fucking well see it.

Woeful player who really needs to be taken out for good, Played with when he was on the pitch and looked a different team with Chair on.

We kept the worst of the three amigos and he isn't suited to the role he's been given. Cameron is better than him in front of the back four too so hard to see a place in the starting line up for him.

There is no place in the squad as we still have Smith from City to come in. Dreadful in any position and should only be used when other options are left.

Don't really like Scowen in Defensive Midfield. Thought I preferred him in a more offensive role until today, but he was utter shite there too. As you say mate, doesn't make the 16 when everyone is fit. Shouldn't even be close to it actually!

Amos & Scowen had poor games today, but surely there is enough positive things to take from today rather than concentrating on QPR players shortcomings? He was far from "utter shite" today, just not as good as the others. I thought Kane was superb when he came on and I can see him chipping in with goals as the season progresses. Eze & Chair are just different gravy.

Ex you said same thing last week when Scowen was poo. He followed last week with being poo this week. It’s not digging out a player it’s just giving honest assessment of how he performed.
How far into the season do we need to be before we can say someone is having poor game???
He was not good enough and he accepts that himself. No point pretending he had decent game when he never

No point pretending he had decent game when he never It is mooted that it takes around three seasons to build a team from scratch to reaching peak performance and I think writing someone off after two games is more than harsh and is the sort of behaviour that I hoped was going to be observed less and less as Warburton turns the side around. For our next league match we may well find that MW thinks it is time for someone new in his position but some of the vitriol he is receiving is unacceptable. We need to be patient, to trust MW in his team selection and tactics. It is not many months ago that we were everyone's favourites for relegation and now we are looking like with a bit of consistency we are going to be a top half side. Let's encourage and support our players instead of trying to decide which is the worst player every game and call for his head on a plate eh?

I totally agree about supporting and cheering players, you don’t get objection from me on that.
But we have been watching Scowen for three seasons now and We know his abilities and limitations. He is never going to be attacking midfielder, as his last two performances have shown, as he has none of the skills to play that role.
I want us to win which means playing the strongest team. Im afraid Scowen, if we’re honest, does not form part of our strongest team especially playing role he is.
Happy to be persuaded otherwise but compare his effort to the impact Chair had. Who would you rather played?

Mate, we went today, supported the side and had a great day out. Clapped them all off, including Scowen. But there is no getting away from the fact that he was very poor today.

Decent day out and feeling very positive about our chances this season!

But we have been watching Scowen for three seasons now and We know his abilities and limitations. This. Surprised the chair was held back, if the gaffer thinks we threw away two points today he has to be self critical. Plus we're lite up top, that can't be disguised. Hugill holds up nicely, but its meaningless without a finisher. Overall though a vast improvement compared to the utter dross we've put up with for so long.

Scowen's a good bloke who shits his colon out in effort and application for the good of the team but imo, he is a squad player and no more.

i think chair will start against bristol on tuesday and if he does well then he's gotta be playing again next saturday. he's surprisingly strong for his size and offers us a better option from shooting outside the box as most of our long range shots end up going wide or easily saved

I am hoping that Kane, Ilias, Dom Ball, Shodipo and one or two others get a run out on Tuesday. I expect Kelly will get a start too.

As you say, he ain't the biggest but he handles himself well. I'd definitely start him Tuesday if I was Warburton!

Think it will be good for those that haven't really figured yet to remind the manager he has options and put a bit of pressure on the first team players to continue their level of performance so far. I expect us to show the same style and organization as the first team and for the display not to be a complete shambles.

Like to see Wells given a run out and Pugh as well as BOS can still be a bit hit and miss.

Chair doesn't need to be big, he's strong enough to shield the ball and hold off a challenge. Ideally built for a tricky little midfielder.

No idea but great that we can't fit all our preferred options in one team for a change. I reckon Scowen will play tonight.... Rather it was Chair for 90.
