If there’s one thing to be said about CCJ he doesn’t post very often but when he does he don’t sit on the fence and then flip flop in his views.

Les has been proved to be out of his depth and it would be right for him to leave at the end of the season. However, you won't find me singing 'fuck off Ferdinand' ever. That does not sit comfortably with me. Les is rightfully known as a club legend for his playing days here. I am sure his intentions have been good, it is just not good enough. He shouldn't be driven out in a way that would make him unwelcome at our club again, in my opinion. hear you but it's the club legend mentality that's fucked us up. Olly x 2, Wild Thing, Les etc etc. The board cynically play that card instead of doing proper homework when it comes to appointments. Plus of course Les is THFC through and through.....

The same legend that joined Leicester, Bolton, Reading and Watford instead of us at the end of his career. for the exact same reason he probably should have passed DOF role up and let someone else do it. I have him right for doing that, look at the stick Austin got second time round. Bet that’s left sour taste Austin’s mouth.

Interesting piece on BBC website ‘hard luck story final’ to compare and contrast with our incompetent ownership and management. I still find it hard to get my head around Luton being non league when Les became DOF. Yet another shocking stat. Had no idea about that 😲

I find it incredible that teflon Les is still there. What exactly has he achieved? Absolutely fuck all. He's become an albatross around the club's neck, along with the cosy mates culture he's instilled with Hall and Ramsey. It's just too easy for him and the results speak for themselves. In any other business he'd be long gone. I liked him as a player and as a person - I met him at the training ground once and had a really good chat with him - but as a DoF? Useless.

That can be the only possible explanation for him not being sacked off yet.

There is Always the curve ball that although bulk of fans are not impressed with him he may well be achieving everything the owners have asked of him. Problem here is the club are not transparent about expectations of each season are, youth team, player development etc etc where as we the fans in the main judge on first team performance only.

Problem is results wise we did terrible in both the U21 and U18 leagues.
We came 7th out of 10 clubs in the U21s with Millwall topping and Bristol City 2nd and Swansea 3rd.
It was even worse for the U18s where we finished 9th of 10 clubs.
Charlton came top, with Millwall 2nd, even Colchester finished above us.

As one or two of us have said for ages now, we kid ourselves about youngsters. Kakay one of our own? Can’t think of any others. Bringing in cast-offs is a risk. Got lucky with Eze. How much longer will it be until Ramsey and Hall have to account for the lack of progress?

I’m happy with cast offs - much more likely to get results. The number of genuine youngsters who progress to first teams is probably one in a hundred, or thousand even. Better to let the rich clubs pay for that. A player kept on by Liverpool until the age of 21 is much more likely to make it as a Champ player than a kid we pick up from the White City estate aged 12 - sadly

I will never be convinced that a club of our size needs a DOF but if we're going to have one at least make it someone who knows what they're doing. Les didn't and its not a position you can lean on the job either.

Les didn't and its not a position you can lean on the job either. Les in hindsight was A DOF in name only. Every manager brought in their own players which is at odds with how it should work and typical rangers. The only people I suspect were Les signings were the unknown kids like Duke, Armstrong Bonner etc
