Bit harsh, Manning hasn't been bad at all this season. but not prem standard lets be honest Ginge Very good going forward (far better then I expected) equally as bad defending All the more reason he would want to stay and learn his trade as a first team regular.

don't think we'd sell him unless we got a ridiculous offer and i can't see manning leaving either. he's getting a regular run of games for the first time in his career bar a spell at rotherham and has finally found a position that he's doing a good job in. i think he'll stay, he's not an idiot and knows that if he were to go to the prem now that he'd most likely be a backup utility player at best. he's doing great at LB so far but still makes mistakes and gets caught out fairly often too as he still needs experience at LB. if he's sometimes struggling against championship wingers then he'll be torn a new one in the prem. still think he has a lot of potential to have a good career in the prem, just not right now.

Now he was a proper striker mate top notch for QPR
Also scored 49 in one season for Spurs one year
Remember him scoring against palace in 82 in 90 minute at LR to reach semi finals of fa cup loftus road went totally mental
Incredible days

I remember the end of Clive Allen's career, but I suspect his best days were behind him by then!

Good angle for his goal from behind the goal. Looks like it's with the outside of the boot: streamable.com/4d3oe

That was a fucking exocet of a strike! Can I just say I've always been a fan of Ryan Manning and Eze... 💪🍀🌴🌞⛅⛈️🌤️🌪️

He’s done remarkably well, has Ryan. For a young, relatively inexperienced midfielder to fill in so admirably at left back is no mean feat at this level.

I thought he was pen taker? Warbs was saying he wanted to take the pen but Eze insisted. Both were superb pens so I think it was justified especially as he caused them both.

His goal was actually outrageous. To take the time, compose yourself and produce a sublime Finish like that away from Home in the last minute of a half takes some doing. Changed the game in our favour. Very tidy player.

Some of the players, notably Barbet, were telling Eze to take the first one. A few of us thought it would be wrong decision as he was blowing from the run but Hull pissing him about gave him time to recover.

Same applies to Manning who I would move on anyway as he’s a fraud You mean like Jordon Mutch? I really don't think he is that bad, and could probably grow with some more defensive coaching/experience.

I think people are just desperate for him to succeed. His whole reputation this season was based on him creating chances but that all happened first month of the season and he’s done fuck all since He’s a fraud as he tries to be smart and trick the ref and Lino and when it don’t come off like yesterday we suffer. Not even close to being good enough to play midfield. Tried the same trick last season in cup against Brentford and they scored too.

Question powers that be need to ask is is there anymore they can get out of Kane and do we invest more time and effort in him at RB. If answer is no then next question is can he carve a role for himself in midfield, if answer is no again then needs moving on Same applies to Manning who I would move on anyway as he’s a fraud Agree with this. What I would say about Manning is that he has a great left foot and crosses the ball well. Aside from that, I don't think he does anything at all particularly well. Positionally he's poor & he's not great in a tackle or particularly good with his head. As such, he ain't going to make it in a defensive role. Going forward, he's never going to skin a man, but he can knock the ball around a bit. I'd try him left side of midfield and see how he does.

We can’t accept mediocrity

We can’t accept mediocrity Ain't saying its definitely the answer. Simply that if he's going to succeed somewhere, I suspect it will be left side of midfield. Certainly wouldn't pick him ahead of BOS, Chair or Eze at the moment. If there is genuinely 5m quid on the table for him though, I'd bank the cash and let another club work out where to play him and how to get the best out of him!

For me if he’s going succeed it’s has to be at another club as he’s not good enough for ours
I would love there too be a 5mil bid for him as if there was we are robbing another team but I don’t think there is. He has a clever agent who drops stories in press during Transfer window to get better deal off us. Palace interested last season and wolves this window!!! While we negotiate extension; it’s not hard to do the maths.
You guys have watched him, do you seriously think a prem side would want him or that he would even get near a prem 11. If he leaves will be to at best another champ side or lower leagues that’s my prediction

Certainly no left back and you have to question the manager for thinking he is a better left back than Wallace. I would punt Manning on and use the funds on a right back, centre half and keeper which for me is the priority.

I think he's been one of the worst players this season, but that reflects on the team as a whole.
It seems his main skill is crossing the ball, but he doesn't get forward as well as say Bidwell or Perch did, so doesn't get the opportunity.
Yesterday I saw him caught between two Brentford players and he can't be responsible for them having a man over. The team need to support and cover which they don't always do. If he's to get forward he needs an outlet close by so he can pass and move but that doesn't happen. We know he struggles to get past a player when he has the ball, he can't run at them like BOS does and the team know that so support him or if he's not good enough don't play him!

If he was at Wigan now and he was suggested as a signing for us it would be met with opinions of why we signing him
