In my opinion this guy should not play in defence this season at all anymore.
I lost count of how many goals were conceded at the rear post on mannings side totally unmarked
Hehas great attributes in midfield crosses . goals however as a defender it's a no from me
one of the main reasons we conceded so may crappy goals last year the other was Joanna Lumley
Lumley will start the season however he should not be anywhere near the first team and in any other club would not play for us anymore .
De Ja Vou again and again hope not learn the lessons from last year or Groundhog Day is coming
The saying goes - If you make a mistake once or twice your are a human , if you keep making the same mistakes over and over your an idiot that goes for the management team
Lean from your mistakes this year fast
Some good signings made but still need 2 strikers and another defender and goalkeeper
The above is only my opinion and something I have observed all last season
Thoughts on this chaps

Also how can the management team still have Lumley listed as our no1 goalkeeper it's beyond belief after last season
This shows total incompetence to the fans they should be embarrassed by this situation
However I do feel the club is now run better in many ways in difficult circumstances

I`m not sure that it`s his fault being forced to play out of position. He is a midfielder, imo. However, he needs to track back wherever he plays though.

Tbf if Manning stays and looking at our squad right now I wonder if we switch from a back 4 to a 3 5 2 and play manning as wb and Kane on the other sofe who on all fairness had his best games for us in that position.
We need new players but based on what we have right now I’d try and go as defensive as possible.

I`ve noticed that supporters on the Forest forum are just as angry with their players and manager as we are with ours today. No sign of Watson returning to them. As a matter of fact, they have signed Colback who is quite similar to Watson I believe.. |
