As we are about to sign Begovic on a years deal this little clip says a lot.
Must say I think it’s a terrific signing.
Age as we know with keepers is a grey area. They can clearly play for a lot longer than outfield players. He will bring bundles of experience, talent and confidence to our back line.
One year deal is smart too. Very happy with this.

So, no news on Begovic, a signing the usually reliable WLS said was to be completed yesterday. Stumbling block? they waiting till he turns 50 next week so they can get his flu jab done for free at same time🫢 |

Hopefully his back has recovered from the last time he played at LR. He had to bend down to pick the ball out of the net 10 times.

Well, people seemed happy at the thought of a striker (Chris Martin, b. 1988) coming back. Begovic (b. 1987) is only a year older - and keepers can go on for yonks. Don't have a problem with his age all.  |

Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "This is a very astute signing by the club, planning for the future. Asmir is just the kind of player we will need in 2026 for our campaign to get out of League One and back to where we belong in the Championship." |
