My take is we just have to be as positive as we can towards all our players until the end of the season. At least (Taylor Richards aside) there seems to be some effort. Look how Lakarche ran about when he came on Sat, albeit not to any massive effect. Just v conscious that when we as a fan base take against a player it becomes a bit remorseless. You only have to look at Joe Lumpley to see what impact that had on his confidence. Asmir, Lyndon and co will all be playing minutes between now and the end of the season and IMHO we are better off getting behind them. Marti and the new CEO are very, very far from stupid and I am sure they have multiple plans for the closed season - we have already been linked with another keeper - but we aren't going to get a young Phil Parkes or Jan Steijskil between now and the match against Leeds so lets just buckle up and hope we will be OK...

You're right stainrod and tbf I don't see any risk of anybody vocally turning. The fans have been bloody brilliant since Marti took over, fully behind the lads. But we can quietly have the raving hump at giving away piss weak goals. Think it is nailed on Marti will be after a new keeper in the summer.

No one has EVER been on Dykes’ back during games and I very much doubt he’s a poster 😂 As for Begovic, the occasional groan that goes up when he’s messing about is no big deal. He’ll have to do until the end of the season and he was a decent keeper - even Arse were going to sign him once - so there are probably a few decent saves left in him. Just have to hope he realises that he’s past it now.

Not wishing to ever conflate the two:
1) 'Constructive criticism' on an internet messageboard is our very raison d'etre 😎
2) I, for one, get behind EVERY player who crosses that white line in a blue and white hooped shirt.

It made me laugh reading the same old suspects on social media slagging Asmir.... Too old, too slow yada yada yada
He won't be forgiven for appearing on a few Chelsea podcasts...
Scapegoating is seemingly a required blood sport for QPR fans on social media...
I think the first scapegoat I remember was Don Givens...
In the stands hearing the old wags quote the leg-end bring back Don Givens all is forgiven at our latest misfiring striker
Begovic unlike Joe Lumley is at the fag end of his (quite successful) career and the opinions of the would have beens, could have beens and never was's will not likely affect him...

Begovic was piss poor Saturday for both their goals.
He gets paid to do a job,if he is found lacking he is open to critisim as much as being praised for a good performance.
Just say it how it is ffs.

Think it's pretty much accepted he's done ok but end of the season must be let go.

Just can't put any trust in him as he's erratic, slow and a poor decision maker at times.

One time second half when Jimmy-the-great was chasing back he left his goal wide open for a toe ender past him if Jimmy-the-great hadn’t got there first. Schoolboy stuff. And to think he looked like going to Arse a few years ago.

Almost cost us a goal yesterday by being in the wrong place fod a back pass. He just cannot move his feet quick enough now which is a sign of a keeper way past his best. Him and Dykes ard the only 2 I would like to be moved on at the end of the season.

Him and Dykes ard the only 2 I would like to be moved on at the end of the season. that wasn't the only occasion either although i do think cook shares some responsibility for that as his back pass was a bit overhit. bego had me nervous all game though, he kept rushing out to collect but would then suddenly stop and backpeddle. numerous times he would fail to come out to collect crosses too, there was one moment from a brum corner were the players were playing head tennis in the box and bego took far too long to come gather it. it's like mate, you're 6'6 and can use your hands. he started off decent but is getting worse every game. certainly need a new keeper and personally i do think the rotherham lad should be top of the list but i'd like to see how walsh has come on in preseason.

Keeper definitely in the twilight of his career. Fortunately he only signed for the season.
As Jimmy says so slow in distribution and general movement. Few times yesterday he could have slid out taking the ball but he hangs back putting CB under pressure.
What’s happened Archer he don’t even get on bench anymore has he left?

When to come, when not to very poor, wish i had that problem. me too tbh and i didn't feel that way at the start of the season. i feel like he'd have been dropped in favour of walsh by now if we were in midtable. we're pretty limited in GK so don't really have a choice but to play bego sadly. definitely need an upgrade on him in the summer.

Fans have been epic last 10 games If we have kept that many clean sheets Maybe Berkovic deserves more respect

been ok this season, a stopgap steady eddy but understandably has his critics. don't think he's the man to take us forward though as we need a keeper good with the ball at his feet.
