How’s that going to help us? I’d say the new players (except Celar) were ok today. Ashby was one of our better players today Today was pants. Like every day. Keeper got us that point. One of our best performances this season. 2 biggest issues were 1) Celar and 2) team confidence. |

Not disagreeing but that’s with the benefit of hindsight. Not really mate. From Day One I said it was a huge mistake not renewing his contract, as did many others. Couldn’t afford him |

Where I do challenge Nourry was it was evident early on we remained one short up top and someone with pace to go behind too and he was available on a free. We should have been all over that. |

In retrospect yes but they prob thought they had a 15 goal a season striker in Celar and Marti seems to like one up top. Tbf before the season started a lot of fans were salivating at prospect of Dembele, Chair and Madsen behind Celar. Believe his wage demands were astronomical last time round. Don’t know if this time he would have been affordable. Obvs now would love to have him but most were happy with our business at the time |

That sounds ominous to me. If Nourry is like some bosses I’ve known that adulation seals Marti’s fate. I hope not and he gets a window to work a miracle. |
