If he goes someone else gets a chance at the free kicks 😁 As it stands at the moment unfortunately that will be Chair😂

Happy if he stays but not overly fussed if he goes Can remember plenty of times when he’s had fans pulling hair out and people saying he’s not good enough and has a brain fart errors in him If he goes someone else gets a chance at the free kicks 😁 I think he's grown into a very solid performer for us. Accident prone early doors for sure, but not so much recently. Make you right on his free kicks though. I'm assuming he takes a decent one in training, because it's beyond me why anyone let's him take them based on what I've seen.

I think we'll definitely be bringing in a few defenders mate.

Can't say I'd be too sorry to see him go if I'm honest. Always prefer a defender who puts the simplicity of defending before pinging a hopeful 40 yard pass.
Would also add that i don't reckon it would take much time or money to find a better CB.

We’ve already got one. The forgotten Dutchman

I like De Wijs, but he is always injured.

I like De Wijs, but he is always injured. Apparently he played every game in Germany when on loan.

He’s confirmed he's left the club on his Instagram. Bit weird there’s nothing in the official. One I would have liked to have kept and it seems he would have stayed. Good servant to the club

That's a shame. Became our best defender imo. Good luck to him.

big fan of barbet and thought he was the most consistent of our defenders. our most experienced one too, think he'll be missed unless we bring in someone of equal calibre.
good player for us, hopefully he can get bordeux back into ligue 1

Very poor decision by the club. Can only think the new coach wants to play four at the back.

He states he wanted to stay but could not come to an agreement with the club. Interesting. I wonder where that rumour started, I heard it from a number of people. In terms of not being able to come to an agreement on a new deal, that's always quite a tough one to interpret. Hard to know whether the club are being tight or the players is over valuing his worth. Either way, wish him all the best. Would have like him to stay, but he's not irreplaceable.

If we have found his successor, I hope George Cox is a fast player with good positional sense.

Very poor decision by the club. Can only think the new coach wants to play four at the back. Yes, Mick does 4-3-3 and similar. Much more high energy than we're used to. I think fitness is going to be massive. Can't have half the side getting turned over by an opponent with a turn of foot. Those days are over.

Specially playing a four higher up the park...

I take that point Hal, but Dickie isn't exactly fleet of foot. But 433 will be good if we have the players. Hopefully we won't be relying on Field as the only DM.
