Loki lookalike who loves a fucking gimmick and plays football like it’s just come from rugby is hardly going to scream to players I’ve got to go there.

Not been great this season but the fact he is being sold is not a good sign of things to come as we will be feeding off free transfers by the look of it. Club has made no secret of the fact our model is to develop players and sell for profit. We should not as fans complain if that actually happens: the crisis for our club will be if we can’t sell a few players this summer. As long as we get a good price, happy days. Every single player in our squad is up for sale and unless we get an unexpected windfall every signing we make will be a free. With the exception of that game against Burnley he has been shown to lack the character we need, and probably one of the most underachieving players (for whatever reason) all season. Nothing to moan about if he goes. That is the financial reality. Best all fans get their heads round that rather than getting depressed because we are not bringing in a headline transfer.

Like dickie but he is a ball playing cb. His type are no longer required while we have king of hoofball as manager. Time for the likes of him, willock and chair to move one and bring in some league 1 puntball specialists.

We paid 2 million for Dickie or thereabouts what is he been sold for?

I think it was inevitable that either Dunne or Dickie would go.
Got shown that they can't play together and we have consistently been rubbish at the back, and they are part of that.
Hopefully we make a profit on him.
Good luck to him if he goes.

Two limited players but would rather keep Dunne, Dickie always got a big red face that looks like he’s been slapped, wouldn’t surprise me if he drinks heavily.

Not devastated by this as he has lots of mistakes in him BUT I'm not confident we'll replace him with anyone better and we're not exactly flush with brilliant defenders.

Gets caught in Possession and turns back to go back to keeper loads plus he can’t really ping a ball and pick a pass. His whole reputation if we’re honest was based on a purple patch two seasons ago when for about 6weeks he kept finding net and was decent at the back. He’s not shit and if the right price never came in I would retain him without a problem but he’s also not half as good as he was built up to be.

I would guess it’s not so much how much we get in a transfer fee it’s more about getting him off the wage bill to be able to bring somebody else in.

Bristol City - top six side next season if they keep Pearson. Ideally, the one we should have gone for before he went to them. If we wanted a British one that is...

Not particularly, that’s a bigger issue - but in itself news that Rob Dickie might be sold is not bad news True enough, and I'm sorry to sound sceptical but I've lost almost total faith in the club's ability to get even the most basic things right these days.

I agree with that too Stan, I can foresee Ainsworth doing his best to keep us up but I expect they are just going to use and abuse him like they did to Holloway for a few years.

No problem shifting players on as this group have shown under 4 managers (Warburton, Beale, critchley and Ainsworth) when the pressure is on they can’t cope so refresh is needed.
It’s who we replace them with which is the concern.

i'm not too fussed at dickie leaving tbh. been a decent player for us all things considered and if we get around 2m for him after the relatively dreadful season he had it'd be good business.
as westy said though its who replaces him thats the concern. if JCS wasn't made of glass i wouldn't be too bothered.
