one thing i NEVER understood about hooliganism is the whole casuals side of it. seriously, fighting over football is silly enough but why spend a weeks wages on stylish clothes just to ruin them in a fight?
it never made sense to me lol.

Too strong a self-preservation in me to want to be a part in all of this. I did get an insight into it a few years back when a workmate explained his reasons for his involvement. He enjoyed it, pure and simple. He was built like a brick shit house, arms as thick as my thighs, fists the size of ham joints, no neck - I'm sure Lord of the Rings based their lead Orc on him... He and his mates would go out on a Friday night as a warm-up to a game on Saturday. They'd go to their locals and basically pick fights with any strangers in 'their' pub they didn't like the look of. Cricket and baseball bats were involved. But, lovely, caring lad that he was, he drew the line at knives. Complete and utter violent fuckwit - but I couldn't help quite liking him...   |

A lot of men are fearless and care free and violent as youngsters, I was fairly game when a yoot and football was a outlet. But I’d have a row anytime place when a youngster. Most go out of faze some don’t

When my Dad started taking me and my brother to LR back in 75/76 we would park up SAR in White City Stadium car park for 30p. They had an actual human being too as the attendant who carried a brown leather shoulder satchel for coins and change, similar to the old bus conductors.

So the top Championship hooligan match next season will be Leicester v Millwall Never found baby squad personally to be that much. First time I went up there was with West Ham and they got run silly. One Leicester lad was waving a blade at a few of us thinking his mates was behind him and they wasn’t, and remember they showed one year in ellersie rd, bit of a set to till their fat mouthy lad who been giving it large all game in ground got put out with a bike helmet in the face and the rest melted. |

I did a few aways at the the end of the season ,and nodded to ,said hello to , chaps my age 50s
But we seem to have loads of kids in their teens , early 20s in aquascutum scarfs , not sure what they are about !
( it makes me sure i`m not going to wear my aquascutum trench ,mac or duffle coats to Rangers ! )
